hi,

 

is there a leveling guide for minstrel?

im having a hard time leveling my minstrel

can someone give me tips on leveling the fastest way?

stats? skills? equipment? im going solo for this one

Mobbing and using Arrow Shower would be the fastest way to level solo. Just grab a hunter bow or orc archer bow and go for it.

Dex is needed for obvious reasons. You'll want some Agi (like 70+ at least by 99) to get ready for Severe Rainstorm. A bit of Vit by the time you're Maestro, since you'll be mobbing with Severe Rainstorm, and also some Int because Severe Rainstorm's SP cost is a bit high.

When you're maestro you should get a RWH or Vanargand to help deal with SP problems, and also you should have switched to an Elven Bow by then.

higher level maestro stuff:

 

a +9 immune or deviant (if you can afford it) valk mant will help out if soloing.  the perfect dodge from the valk mant will help you survive large mobs.  for headgears I tested both and went with a +9 rideword hat for survivability.  also this was waaaay back before the 175 patch and before there were hbp/faw and even gramps Ti.

 

my setup at the time:

 

+7 leo crown to proc fire mild wind then switch to +9 rideword hat for scarabs

+9 deviant valk mant

+12 kingbird elven bow

variant shoes

2 expert ring of flash or 2 medal of honor

fish in mouth and a boatload of fish

 

stats I aimed for before hitting up bio2/scarabs:

 

100 agi

120 dex

100 vit

 

just aim to one shot with rainstorm.  low/mid ti should be no problem but if you have trouble in high ti you can always string for parties.  but either way once u hit up bio4 parties u have no choice but to string.
