I have a 101 gene right now, and my CC does about 9.5k with converter. I can solo kill stuff in nogg with two CCs, but I take a lot of hits because my cast is slow.

 

Any tips on better places to level or level more efficiently? Working on getting instant cast, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

Easiest way is mid TI, and the next best thing would be Nogg 2. Other than that you can try Juperos Ruins but you might have a harder time there.

Are you already working on getting instant cast? Instant cast isn't really that marvelous in Pvm, or at least not that much at your level. You'll do just fine with a 1s cast CC, and instant cast is hard to achieve plus it'll eat up your stats or gear slots when you could be using something else. A Witch Pumpkin + Alarm is a good choice as it'll make Pumpkins as good as whites, plus they're cheap and way less heavier, which would ease up your problem of taking too many hits.

Also if you diligently summon your homunculus, you can use it to tank some hits for you first.

I was thinking WPH, but I forgot mine is only the costume version. Also wansn't sure if a homunculus could take all that beating. But I don't have one at an appropriate level.

 

I was planning to go instant CC by end-game, but it does seem to suffer a lot of damage. But it also stacks a lot of mATK for AB with those same gears. So idk.

well first thing that comes to mind is. Why the heck do you have 50 pts in Agi?

 

Agi is practically useless for Genes.

It's not necessary even for WoE genes, and you wouldn't be WoEing at your level so you could've used those points for something else...like you should have 90+ Int at your level since Int greatly boosts CC damage.

Well I had to get to this level somehow. It was a leveling stat. I haven't respecced yet as I haven't exactly finalized my stats. And since I thought it would be useful as some others have said with masq, I figured I'd just leave it.

it isn't even needed for leveling. My gene had 1 pt in agi form novice to gene.

 

putting those points in Int will help in CC damage.

 

any other other equips? +9 hbp, +9faw?

 

a +9HBP will give +10% range damage with 90dex and +30Atk(?) with 90+Str.

 

cheap acc that is good to have are either cat hand gloves or silversmith bracelet. both are cheap, slot and gives +1 stat to Str, Int and Dex.

 

You can also Farm some EMB to trade for Glorious Ring and Medal of Honor (Merchant) set.

 

1 EMB = 5 Valor/Bravery/KVM Badges. 

 

Glorious Ring 1200KVM Badges.

MoH (Merchant) 500 Bravery or Valor Badges.

Are you telling me you would not have levelled faster if you put some AGI in? Just because it isn't needed doesn't mean it isn't wanted.

 

Really though, the agi is not a big deal. It's not permanent. I just wanted to mammo faster. I can change that whenever I want. Can we leave that alone?

 

I didn't start this topic to critique my equipment/build, I was looking for "tricks". Like someone has pointed out using homunculus to mob/take hits.

just go to Mid-TI, the ranger will be doing most of the killing anyway.
