What will happen if you choose to stay and read the blueprints instead of running away with them? I'm just curious

 

i just tried it, it's the same.

 

since the blueprints give the exact location where the machine was, i guess the captain didn't have to read it himself, you just gave the position to him, but i suggest just running away with it because the blueprints is a long read even with spamming enter.

the spawn rate in alberta is too low! Make it at least like TI maps and I would believe these sea creature invasion is actually happening.

yeah the first npc says the same thing when i go back to him. I tried relogging. Still the same issue. i tried on another character again and he can take the quest.
 

I'm having the same issue. Are you using a Swordman class? I think it's because I have another quest in queue with this exact same NPC. I think this issue can be fixed by clearing out the previous quest from this NPC.

The blueprint contain a journal from the 1st day of operation until the breakdown.

it seem that the monster only spawn on the southern part of port area only, but not the northern part. maybe can ask GM to increase spawn rate in the port areas only?

My galapagos mercenary disabled the drill, but I did not get warped to Alberta Island.  I have re-logged and walked all around it hoping it would trigger it again; it won't.  Am I able to walk to the pirate medic?  If so, can someone tell me where he is?

yes you can just walk to the pirate medic.  The pirate medic is back on the sunken ship where the general and pirate lady is at on the right side of the map.  It is like the very middle right area of the green island.

I am using a Merchant class. a mechanic. i sent in a ticket. so i shall see what they do to fix it in about a week.

My quest redirects me in izlude but I cant seem to find the Guard Lieutenant 

 

I have this problem too on my level 60 BioChemist.

I've completed the quest already on my main and started on my alt when I encountered this problem.

I cant find the NPC in Izlude and the Alberta NPC doesnt respond (spammed clicks) so I'm pretty sure it isnt the one in Alberta.

 

I assume that the problem was about the level requirement (the similar guide in irowiki states at least base level 50 to do the quest).

 

I hope the GMs could look into this asap.

Cant even start the 1st npc. Is this bugged at moment or there is lvl cap like lvl170+ cant participate

this means that you already have the quest in your quest log (possibly left over if you took the same quest in 2012)

 

i got the same exact message as you, i checked my quest log, and had an entry for the talk like a pirate quest already active.

 

the quest entry said i was already at the pengineer part, so all i had to do was the least step to get my reward xD

Yes he is in the water

This quest is almost same with the 2012's one, so i found his coordinate in the 2012 talk like a pirate quest guide

 

 

 

p.s: You need to rotate the camera then you can find him

there's another npc in the water in izlude that you talk to as part of the faux orc hero helm quest.
