Since I'm only 2 job levels away from changing to GX, I thought it's high time to make preparations. The thing is, I'm not really good at making builds and choosing equipment, so I'd like to ask some questions. My current stats are like this:


Currently:

1) LV: 99/68
2) Stats:

STR: 98 +11
AGI: 90 +17
VIT: 10 +2
INT: 1
DEX: 25 +9
LUK: 30 +10

8 points left

3) Equipment:

Helm: Morrigane's Helm
Middle: N/A
Lower: N/A
Armor: Hard Thief Clothes (Pupa)
Weapon: +7 Triple Critical Jur (Soldier Skeleton)
Garment: Quick Manteau (Condor)
Boots: Green Boots (Matyr)
Acc 1: Morrigane's Pendant
Acc 2: Morrigane's Belt

4) Skills:

Katar Mastery MAX
Sonic Blow MAX
Grimtooth MAX
Cloaking MAX
Advanced Katar Mastery MAX
Enchant Poison MAX
Create deadly Poison MAX
Enchant Deadly Poison MAX

9 points left


Now for some Q's:

a ) How should I distribute my stats from now on?
b ) Where should I put the unused skill points? Poison react sucks, and since I'm katar Sin I don't really need L/R hand masteries, but maybe they'll be needed later...
c ) I chose those skills for GX. Are they ok?

Cross Impact 5
Cloaking Exceed 5
Rolling Cutter 5
Cross Ripper Slasher 5

Considering:
Create New Poison 1
Antidote 1
Poisoning Weapon 5
Dark Illusion 5
Weapon Blocking 5
Counter Slash 5

i consider that the new poisons are a must for every GX out there and some new skills need L/R hand mastery, that is all i cant tell you couse i dontknow oo much about crit Gx

you could spend those points to Venom Impress Max and Create new poisons lvl 4-5
With Venom Impress you could kill an MVP easily with crit

With Venom Impress you could kill an MVP easily with crit


Hmmm... So in your opinion what would be a good skill build then? Like this?

Cloaking Exceed 5 - one site shows this skill, iro wiki doesn't... whch one is right X|

Venom Pressure is something you want to have add last once you have level 1.
New poisons stops at lvl 9, at level 10 it only increase success rate of making them...

Ok, I am a GX now.... Now the only thing I have to think about is how to distribute the stats. My idea for now is:

STR: 100
AGI: 120
VIT: 50
INT: 1
DEX: 50
LUK: 50

Venom Impress 5
Cloaking Exceed 5
Cross Impact 5
Dark Illusion 2
Antidote 1
New Poison Research 10 < having more chance of creating a poison won't hurt
New Poison Creation 1
Poisoning Weapon 5
Venom Pressure 5
Weapon Blocking 5
Counter Slash 5

Rolling Cutter 5 ( unless you like not having a decent mob control skill that isn't grimmtooth )

MA and counter slash are also good alternatives. rolling cutter is katar only. CS are best for both katar and duals, it is also a better mobbing tool
Grimtooth still work well if you have the dodge

I don't thin 120 will do any good, 115 base and the rest to more dex will be better. After 115 points is really really expensive

Well, my math sucks, but from the calculations I've made it looks like this:

From lv 99 to 149 we get 1375 status points.
Stat point cost for each ten is:
1-11 = 20
12-21 = 30
22-31 = 40
32-41 = 50
42-51 = 60
52-61 = 70
62-71 = 80
72-81 = 90
82-91 = 100
92-99 = 110
100-104 = 80
105-109 = 100
110-114 = 120
115-119 = 140

STR: 98 > 100 = 27 pts
AGI: 90 > 120 = 560 pts
VIT: 10 > 50 = 176 pts
INT: 1 > 1 = 0 pts
DEX: 25 > 50 = 124 pts
LUK: 30 > 50 = 108 pts
======================
995 pts

1375 - 995 = 380 pts left

Hmmm.... Now which stat should I increase more...?

(This is just a rough estimate. Please pardon me any mistakes.)

you should cut the agi to 115 and raise your dex to whatever ( I hope 70 )

Why cut the AGI? I don't mind those points above 115... Besides I do want at least one stat maxed out.

I think that I'll finally go with these stats:

STR: 100
AGI: 120
VIT: 50
INT: 1
DEX: 70
LUK: 70
Any leftover points into int maybe (there won't be much of them anyway)

cut down agi. you don't need that much. It is very expensive after 115.

No unless, depend on your build. 100,105,110,115 is just solid stat before the next spending stat point rise; mean while you limit it at these numbers and spend on other stats.
70 dex is a must, unless you 100% crit

actualy i m trying a vit build...tanker type..and im not only trying, this is common build of my every sin class is made of so im sure abt this build..it rox.

its kind of STR/Vit/agi/dex

one more question is der any stat simulator which supports 3rd jobclass?

The stats and equips works (There is some bug with dual weapons), but the damage calculator might be a little off. Plus 3rd job skill sim is not actually implemented, so try guess your damage with SB lol
