Best website hosting sites?

It's rather difficult to search online properly for this, when I check BBB for the so called "Top 10", I see a ton of negative reviews and few positive. I understand
it's simply more likely that a negative review will be written in general, but that ratio worries me.

Don't listen to top 10 websites, they will be the death of you.
You gotta figure out what the purpose of the hosting is.
If it is for a local business then check local hosting companies via Google.
If it is for global business or personal use and you have money use something like godaddy.com
If it is for personal use and you have little money try ifastnet.com
If it is for personal use and you have no money then try freehostia.com or something like that.
Top 10 websites for hosting is horrible as a frame of reference because it depends on the circumstances of it's use.

I'm looking for some money, with good creating ability within the site, and being able to setup forums with a possibility of not so expensive bandwidth. It will not exceed more then 100 users though, more then likely I will set it to up to 50 users total for the forums.

I used 1&1 back when I had a website. It worked pretty good for me.

I used iX webhosting, but they are probably not good for you. I also used Square Space. I never gave them a chance so I am not sure how it would work out for you. When I was younger I used Geocities and Homestead. I don't think they are around anymore.
