War of Emperium Time Change

With Wednesdays’s patch, the times for War of Emperium will be changed.  As we’ve grown in number in new regions, the times of WoE needed adjusting. After nearly 2 months of polling of players worldwide, this time change better reflects the needs of a larger group of our players globally.

Wednesdays  17:00 Server time
Saturdays  17:00 Server time

The first WoE on the new schedule will be held on 5/30/2015.

Please notify your guildmates of the changes so plans can be adapted to fit this new schedule.

Umm...  I just asked few of my friends and nobody was aware of this poll that was going on.  When and where did it occur???  I personally like the new times over the old one, but I'm just curious haha

It is really unfair for people from the Philippines and TW players since not all are using the forums for news, updates, etc. Also, it is somewhat unfair for TW players as they're quite new to the server. The announcement is somewhat late as well (for SEA players, it's only 12:38 PM here, and you posted it 10 hrs ago). In-game notifications and update banners on the client lacked as well. I hope it's still up for change.

I wonder how many people polled for the time change. 8am for Thursdays many South East Asia region players would be studying or working. Sundays... church for some.

Three things:
1) this is the first time i hear this;
2) Who is the genious that put both at the same time reducing the playerbase that can actually play that without problems?;
3) isn't 17 server time just way too late night for all european ppl? It's about 2am in west europe!!!

PS If all the comments above didn't know about the poll who actually partecipate? Why wasn't used as always a poll on the forum?

for Freya Server - Most of the players are from Taiwan and Philippines can you consider a game time for WoE,

PH and TW have the same timeline, 17:00 server time is actually 8AM in TW and PH. really if you don't want to loose a large

scale of players, please study the active player's locations per server. and about the poll, you should've posted it here or

announced it globally via forum or in  game broadcast  :no1:  :p_err:  :p_err:  :p_err:  :p_err:  :p_err:  :no1:

17:00 = 8:00 PH and Taiwan time. We are all have a life in a real world., we need to go to SCHOOL for students, we need to Work for workers, we need to open business to businessman/women. please analyses correctly for the time you well going to do in WOE time. you owned the to conflict time in this world.

The daylight and the moonlight. please analyses how to meet the two conflict time.

may suggestion:

14:00-15:00 = 6:00 am - 7:00 am for Sundays or Thursdays. and

5:00 am - 6:00 am server time = 20:00 - 21:00 ph time. Sundays or Thursdays. or

Please don't change the time.

In short.

Your WOE schedule that you will going to patch are not fit to PH and Taiwan time.

its fit in to closer of GMT+5.........

you should posted it here or

announced it globally via forum or in game broadcast.....

Sad my norns,PCB and GMP well going to be useless sooner or later.

Good luck to player PH and Taiwan. that needed a time of 8:00am PH and TW or 17:00 server time..

Err why are people even QQing?  Yes you missed the poll because there's no forum link to it, that's all.

One of the current WoE time is on "Thursday 17:00 Server time", so don't tell me you have to go to work/school on "Wednesdays 17:00 Server time" but you have no school/work on "Thursday 17:00 Server time".  You can assume no WoE time change just the day of the week changed on this one?  How is that going to change your schedule ...

For the Saturday one, I think it's to make it so it will be Saturday for NA and Sunday for SEA.  It will be the weekend for mostly everybody, too bad if you like to wake up in the middle of the night on Monday.

17:00 Server Time, there is life, work, school and open business everywhere in the world too.  Not just limited to SEA and TW.

Conflict to PH and TW.

start to poll other counter player. and mybe start to poll out PH and TW player. Your WOE schedule that you will going to patch are not fit to PH and Taiwan time.

Good luck and wishing your schedule going patch. gives you a larger group of coming players globally....... ^_^

Most Player on Freya Server is TW and PH have the same timeline. I think you need to know our suggestion by using announce in-game or post in ro2 website. Other player didn't know about the poll for changing WOE TIME Schedule. 17:00 Server time for Wedsday and Saturday is not okay for us.  Please Do some consideration.

Silly attempt to look like they care lmao, if you want to make WoE more popular fix your game and maybe people will put more effort in waking up early.

oh does this count as bug fixes?.........

This makes no sense. Freyja server was opened specifically to cater to southeast Asia regions and this decision totally contradicts that. What's the point of opening a new server if it's going to share the same schedules as Odin?

I believe at the moment there's no provision in place to differentiate the WoE start times between Odin and Freyja, that may be something we can bring up again in the VCR discussions to see if the devs could work out a way of handling it.

If no provision to have separate WoEs existed in the first place, why even bother opening Freyja and split the Odin population?

Guys, honestly im so disappointed with this time change, it will make me from attending woe once a week to be almost none.

Those schedule in asia is in thrusday 7 am and sunday 7 am (gmt +7).

1. Why still put the time for woe in weekdays working time? I already suggest to put if possible to make it 1 hour earlier,so that will be 6 am in our time and we will have the opportunity to attend woe before going work.
2. *sry, not meaning to be racist* Some players here go to church. Have u ever been thinking put woe sched in the time of going church (sunday morning) is a good idea? We have family, friends, or at least our conscience to go to church, why u try discourage either woe or church by putting the timeframe like this?

In the end, i still think previous time better, even when we are forced to stay late night. Ty.

That's the one word you can use to describe all of Freyja accurately:
Why?

Uh. If they had to block every single time block where someone might have some kind of compromise, there would be no WoE at all. For you it might be Sunday morning (how many hours did get blocked there? 4?), for others it might be SUnday afternoon, and then there are those busy in the evening (like they go visit their hometown every weekend and have to return in the evening).

They can reduce every single time block by giving 2 various times like previous (like previously 1 almost in the noon and 1 in the afternoon), that is good enough to balance players who can join woe (players with different timezone can complement each other for the guild). Now if its like this the guilds who have more members ready at that time will get more advantage than the guild who is having problem with the time.

Weekday morning but already work time = problem
Sunday morning (for the point i state before) = problem

Result: some will less likely or even absent for whole woe till new time change come
