pvm only no pvp at all. this just what i did to my katar raider. i do not say this is the best of the best but it is the best with regards to MY OWN playing.

if you have a personal cleric, focus on damage. make your crit rate to 50%. accuracy to 800. all gems with aspd. equips that has no aspd gem put aspd/ap substat. my own personal experience, aspd kills faster than ap. 10 small hits of 1000 vs 4 big hits of 2000; something like that.

if you don't have a personal cleric, focus on dodge. survival, so they say. max dex and dex.dodge substats. of course you hit low and slow but it can let you live until potions cooldown.

PvM raider build depends on style of gameplay.

There's a skiller and a melee type for pvm style

Skiller is recommended that you go flame tree and take all the flame attacks. Be aware that you will only need flame hawk on the melee tree to access the 1st skill in the flame tree of the raider tab. As well as the dodge on common tree. Take all the passives but crit weakening for raider tree. No buffs. And as Wong said, the stats are there. Since you're a skiller, it is needn't to have high aspd but if you can get it go ahead.

Melee on the other hand, is just all the passives. Also except crit weakness. The crit debuff, stun, or knife. Stealth, cloak.

First of all thanks for your replies.

KatsuraKujo I think I'm more of the skiller type of player I think I should go with this.

So, I posted my skills and stats down below in the post. If I got you right I need to reskills my skills and then I have to learn all passives from common and melee tree, right?

Then from the melee tree I only learn the flame hawk skill.

Buffs I shouldn't learn at all.

And as soon as I get the raider title I have to also learn all passives and only skills with fire.

Is that right?

I don't know if my stats matter at the moment, but I just posted them so maybe someone can give me a tip how I should build them as I lvl up.

These are my skills:

All class ratio's are 3:1

So 3 main stats to 1 COn

in your case, 3 DEX and 1 CON

Additionaly you can add different stats to compensate with your equipement + build

Yes that's correct, but keep in mind the stacking skills, the one you don't need in pvm style is critical weakness which is directly under the crit passive of the raider tab.

I'm not sure about the stats but i'd recommend the ratio that cortiz gave. Depending on your own style of play.

For raiders here's what the stat does (no numbers cuz i don't know them)

Str = hp, def, ap

Dex = dodge, ap

Con = Accu, small amount of crit

Int = max mana, mdef

Cha = buffs, debuffs

Sen = crit, small amount of ap

Also, if you're going pvm, you don't exactly need a lot of con for a build, because mobs hardly have any dodge, giving it a little con is fine though so at least you can assure you hit more. (although max hitting rate is 95%... i think :v) the rest is up to your own style and your creativity

This is how the raider tab looks like. (Ignore the build, i made this one a melee type)

The one circled red is critical weakness which you should not get as a pvm player

The green one is basically the flame tree and how it looks like.

I hope this helps give you an idea of how to make one and how it would work roughly =3

Have fun =3

Okay, thank you :)

I think since you know something about Raider builds you have one too.

If you have such an skill raider would you mind posting pictures of your build (skills and stats(with and without equipment)) here?

I just want to see how a decent build looks like ^^

Any PvP katar raider built works well for PvM too, the only thing which has to be considered, is that debuff effects like critical weakness can't be applied on monsters, so if you make a pure PvM raider you can skip thos (and only get the critical damage/mspeed/aspeed stacking passives)

Apart from that you might go brave 220 with epic katar - depending on the role you play you can focus on dodge or offensive stats like AP/Aspeed/Crit/Accuracy....there are also some usefull PvM Unique skills like Stuns etc.

Overall you can't really do something wrong on a Katar PvM Raider (Dual is a bit more tricky)....just get all passives and focus on the right click damage....Skillheavy builds fall behind when it comes to pure single target damage due to changes in the damage formula...

If you need more infos feel free to pm me.... or whisper me ingame....

Actually, you can go wrong if you're attempting to build a flame katar, because it does not require a lot of the aspd, so if taken too much from the stack (maxing the aspd stack basically), then it might not be enough for the flame skills.

Skill heavy damage is still good but it of course depends on build, my friend does like 13k crit on turak sometimes, i personally can do about 7k with the flame skill i have inquired. So its still quite good for pvm style if someone is interested in that sudden burst of power

Just my thoughts and experience

The Melee focused Raider scales way better with gear, while skill heavy Raider also work well with less strong gear.

I was speaking about endgame (full #15 perfect gem, jewellery setup etc) and Dungeon Raiding, not the 5seconds instagip Turak Boss.

oh okay, sorry for the misunderstanding, cuz i'm more focused on farming kings then actual dungeons so i did not exactly notice.

I've come down with a melee build, stat bears resemblance to PvP's.

Capable of Soloing any mobs up to Eldeon's.

Haven't tried Orlo =))
