We decided to make them soulbound

• for consistence with the current Bone Dragon items
• to prevent them from being spread around the whole server once equipped. So after the event ends, they can't be sold anymore if they're used by the players

And no, we won't make an event with 10* elements or such, because this would be game breaking.

Community event wish thread : We would like to have a heirloom bone set event

 

They just gave requesting players something they requested for. I see no problem with that.

Actually it's a good thing cause it shows this thread is seen by the staff and reacted to.

 

The soulbound thing just adds another little twist, makes the set parts even more valuable. Once the event is over, the parts that are equipped by players are gone from the market . So it's kinda special to run around with the set and it stays special. And once the other still unequipped parts are sold to other players and at the end equipped, those parts will leave the market for good too. 

I kinda like the part that those parts are soulbound and not able to flood the server market for......years. Sorry, but in my very own opinion I do think especially the soulbound part makes them very special and valuable.

Yup, like in any other event - while the event is running. The price for the items that are part of the event does drop. That is completely normal. For example while the heirloom hookah hat event was running, one hat was sold for 200g in the market. (I bought about 5 of those). Now - after the event is over - the same hookah hat (out of the exact same heirloom event) is worth 1.8k and even more.

 

 

The market will adjust itself. It does so with any event running. Just wait a few weeks and see yourself after the event has ended. I'm sure the heirloom bone parts, the ones still unequipped that is, will become very valuable and their price will raise. 

This happens to any event item in any event I was part in on this server here. And because the heirloom bone parts are soulbound on equipping this does give them some extra amount of value after the event has ended.

This game is starting to get back on its feet with the new players who are joining, playing favorites is dumb and only serves to drive away new players so that old players can feel special.

Heirloom items are not end-game items! That is one of factors that event is coming again.

It is fair that old GMs DID NOT organize this event, they kept the promise and the new GM DID NOT promise you!
