Why do some Chaos/Classic players hate us so much?

Srsly tho, I don't think (most) players hate everyone from Thor*. Just the fact that Thor pretty much slowed down WP's response time with everything else because of what happened with the terrible migration. I mean seriously, it's been weeks and even with kRO's intervention, nothing major has still been resolved. And with no good progress done, ticket support queues will just keep piling up and everyone else just gets even crankier like they're on their period or something. Because patience is something we don't tolerate around these parts.

 

 

*Well, until that Thor-Chaos merge becomes a reality. Then everyone will start giving you guys the real  -__-s.

i dont hate thor, i have no reason to hate thor. and so does most of us. it is you, who have that kind of thinking and keep poisoning your mind for false accusation. i just dissapointed with GM that they kinda abandoning chaos while they are focusing on fixing thor. no, it is not hate.
we, chaos people also have needs (nightmare clock tower bounty, decarding and boss card trading problem, etc) and those problem slowly got resolved since GMs are focusing on "new toy". yeah,we dont want any player treated like second class citizen, and my take is to improve the GM task delegation management to take care both server equally.
and once again, no. it is not hate

I think 95% of players dont use the forums. also, i only see around 5 people here on the forum, posting that thor should be closed/wipe

I don't hate it, but I don't think it should exist. WP isn't capable of supporting another RO server. Like I said before - if they wanted to attract pRO population they could just give them free vip for a few months and some "starter packs"

This. They already closed down other servers because their populations didn't merit the funds/resources and Thor is probably going to end up the same way. I mean, yeah the WoE times will suck but at least if you do WOE there will be some sort of... population to fight against? And the merge (done properly) would have also helped out Chaos since our siege has been sorta stagnant lately.

 

So yeah, not sure where you're getting this but I haven't met a single person who just... hates it.

The people crying that they hate Thor are the same people who would cut their wrists if iRO closed down and they lost all of their precious headgears.

Well , this is a little close to our situation right now. 

YES we may have our characters and some gears left but we don't have everything with us. Besides , getting us from pRO is quite an advantageous package should the migration be successful

Just imagine :

We have a lot of headgears and data from pRO given by kRO that would be available to be shared to Chaos like what they did to this month's groove pack. They are reviewing the gears on a case to case basis to ensure balance will be kept in Chaos while they all have to do is to implement the EXISTING data to Thor and work on the gears using the same basis.

 

If WP management decided to just give out starter packages, I assure you it will bear less impact on attracting us because our country is infested with private servers where they'd rather stick around than go here and get a different treatment . Most of ya folks already know what I mean by that.

 

Besides , we will ensure contribution . Just what you have seen with all the complaints when the wipe happened, most pRO folks are rich people. They spent alot previously and will not bother spending more to get what we either lost or never had .

 

I can go yapping all day but may not change yer mind at all ,

I see nothing that should make you hate Thor apart from those messed up players that we have.

 

One last thing ,

 

WE'RE NOT THE BLOODY ONES WHO DOES THE DDOS . I ASSURE YOU THAT WE ALL HAVE THE LAZINESS IN OUR BODIES ENOUGH NOT TO BOTHER ATTACKING A SERVER JUST TO RUIN THE GAME.

 

Though it's pretty easy to do something then blame it to us .

I don't hate Thor. I hate SOME people in Thor -- those people who just want to watch the world burn. They dupe items like there's no tomorrow, they try to find exploits just for their own advantage. They also love trashtalking even if they don't make sense. They keep posting screenshots of their old gear on pRO on FB and provoking everyone, saying that nobody will come close to them when it comes to greatness.

 

I actually like Thor to flourish as well and to cater to the other side of the world, but at its current state, it just can't. That's why I've been suggesting a server wipe (item and zeny only) to completely fix all the problems. From there, any new duping activity can easily be monitored so newly duplicated items can be deleted quickly. Migration item restrictions were also not followed, with the Fallen500 not bringing anything over and most of the rest being able to bring over their +15 equipment and MVP cards. It's just not fair, right?

 

As I've said in the maintenance thread, I'm not suggesting a server wipe to offend anyone. I've made my point already before, and it definitely does not involve hatred on ALL pRO players. I just want Thor to be a fresh, balanced and fun-to-play server, with nobody way ahead of anyone, so newbies can start anew with some hope that they'll also be able to eventually reach the top.

 

Let's face it, pRO died. Characters from pRO could've also disappeared as well, but hey, they got adopted by iRO, which is a good thing already! So I'm not exactly sure why an item/zeny wipe would be a big deal.

 

If you want to be angry at anyone for your wasted real-world money, then take it out on LU!

its not that i hate thor... but seriously, the merge didn't went well... if all goes according to iRO's plan, there wouldn't be any problem. iRO is prepared for the migration, but LU is not.. i only think that LU and kRO successfully given iRO a headache with those problems arising that they should've done in the 1st place... so much for the server balance that everybody was hoping for...
