You don't understand what happened.  Freyja was an impoverished server and a bunch of very rich players were dumped into it with no cap on zeny they could bring with them.  The first thing they did was go through the AH like locusts and buy up all the normally priced items.  Then they priced them how they were used to on their server.  So something that cost 3k literally went to 300k overnight.  It's not about working, it's about sticker shock and no way for the previously existing Freyja player base to catch up.

The problem is compounded by the incredible amount of botting that has also come with it.  Every morning there are botters on every channel for tigers in FP.  Throughout the day there are botters on every prime spot.  Legit players can't even farm it.  So these very rich players are staying rich and making it incredibly difficult for honest players. You can work as hard as you want and you can't catch up.

Zeny sells for 1:90 on there...that even puts Odin to shame.

Do you have any proofs that they bought all the AH stuff with peanut prices? Because I only read Freyja players complained about their own natives trying to make some quick zeny by taking advantage of Taiwanese players arrival with prices increase.

Don't confuse Taiwan server players with SEA server players.

I was there that day.  I was there the day they came, I saw the AH go from full for that server to empty in a matter of hours.  I saw in turn these players inflate things hundreds of times.   A lot of them have "TW" in their names...how much more proof do we need?

And yes some players inflated to match in an attempt to try to be able to afford things.  Maybe some wanted to take advantage...I can't speak for them.  But I do know Cyan and I know he is one of the hardest working people on the server and if he can't catch up...

Edit:  I want to make something clear too...I never said TW in my first post even though yeah.  But I am NOT saying they are maliciously doing it.  I am saying they are doing what they are used to and don't seem to realize the impact it is having on the economy there, which also in part could be due to the language barrier.  I think this is why Cyan is asking for a price guide.  Although i don't know they will read it.  The botting is another issue entirely.

People are charging 350-400k for no slot costumes...a grand pirate was 1.2 mill.  Eddga gear was hundreds of thousands....a 2s undrilled, unhoned scythe was 700k.  Yesterday someone was charging 4k for phantom stones...

Well the way you answered already indicates you were previously pointing fingers at them.

Back to topic: I think requesting a "guide" like the one made for SEA players won't produce the results OP thought it will. Since Taiwanese players didn't have to game on how intact their transfered accounts going to be, so there was not reason for them to bow their heads down to natives' "guide". If they didn't before why will they now, even if they often visit the forum and understand English.

That guide was made before the merge to help prevent price gouging and the incoming players from being taken advantage of. With the way economies fluctuate, a written list like that is not valid forever. Personally, I keep a handwritten list of frequented AH items and update it every so often for this reason.

As for the AH buying. We attempted to prevent that in Odin by removing most of our items prior to the merge. Unfortunately it is a little too late for you guys to prevent it, but the AH is like the stock market. After some time, prices will eventually stabilize.  They only stay high if there are people willing to pay the price.

I agree.  But I don't know what the answer is.  There are two classes of people on Freyja...very rich and very poor.  There is no middle class to speak of like there is on Odin.  You would think the zeny would trickle down.  But it doesn't seem to be doing that very much.

Another huge problem with the economy there is the massive amount of RMT.  Zeny and accounts are being sold in high numbers.  It's quite common to make friends with someone and be in party with them...they are good players, then a few days later they have amnesia and don't know their skills, don't know who you are...they have no idea of things that high level ML's should know.  I am not pointing fingers at any country for that, because I don't know where they are from.  I just know this is happening a lot on there.

I told a RMT trader this morning who was blatantly advertising it in trade that he needed to stop because he was going to get banned, and he didn't care.  He said so what I have 100 accounts go ahead report me, 99 to go.  I did, but I don't know what good it will do.

There are a couple people who consistently sell an inordinate amount of high level runes.  Maybe they are just really really really lucky...or maybe not.  *Shrugs*

So there are a combination of things that really messed up the economy there...and my original answer was it's not about working hard.  You can work as hard as you want...it doesn't mean anything at this point.  If you try to sell for a reasonable price people just buy it and inflate it.  If you sell for a high price people accuse you of inflating things to try to take advantage of the rich players (ironic isn't it)...what can you do?

There are a few other issues, like for instance no one can buy anything with BP.  Colo never fills up, no one ever wins, and no one ever gets trophies.  So players can literally have millions of BP and can't buy gear or mounts or whatever they want with it.  So to buy say Eddga with BP is not viable.  In a small way that contributes also to inflation because it just takes away one option of how to get it.  Again you can work as hard as you want to earn BP...but sorry no trophies.  Colo happens MAYBE once a month if we are lucky.

Sorry for the double post but in answer to this...the issue lies in that the rich people still buy from one another so they are trading their zeny back and forth between themselves.  The prices aren't really dropping like you would think they would.  Also with SEA merge there was at least a cap, this time there wasn't.  AH literally went from something like 47 pages to 11 in 2 1/2 hours.  Every single thing I had for sale was just gone in an instant.

i visited freyja once awhile, i dont think not all of what you said is true, many of the necessities there is cheaper than odin, i know maybe few may had planned to control the market since day1 of the merge, but i think market will still stabilise overtime, as there's many items freyja owned, but TW players dont have, like HHBs(except HHB I), and seed runes, till now TW seed runes is still in the dark, you cant see single of it under the sun.

for those costumes, please... ppls can price it at any price they want, the price in AH not necessarily a selling price, like a grand pirate costume you mentioned, there's only about 5 pieces in TW server, im not sure about freyja, because few players i talked to saying they never saw it before.

about colo, i went and tried once few days ago, it started when time is up even though only 13players inside. maybe suggestion to implement 10men colo will help. personally my freyja char have more than 10stacks of trophy, but no bloodpoints, as they wiped out all BP when merging. >,<"
