sura knuckle arrow build help

hey guys i don't know but i'm still considering AGI on my knuckle arrow build on sura and i'm planning to max out STR for best damage output with ATK raising gears also.

 

plan stats at level 175/60

 

str 130

agi 80

vit 90

int 70

dex 90

luk 28

 

what do you think on AGI should i invest more or just enough to spam KA?

KA has a cast delay of 1 second regardless of AGI;

the purpose of AGI for KA is if you have magic strings (and/or kiels) - those reduce the delay significantly (since 1 sec is rather short), to the point that animation delay comes into play (making the delay essentially ASPD based);

besides AGI, you can improve ASPD through consumables and gears; around 185 ASPD should be good enough; having too much (190+) ASPD can be a bit pointless as you can only spam as fast as you can click, and can actually be bad if you're sacrificing too much ATK/damage gears for it; as a side note, good timing can also help you to KA faster than just mindlessly spamming clicks; also, having your animation broken (ex. getting hit) can momentarily allow you to spam faster than usual, but anyways..

if you want to get the best out of KA, you either have to always tag along magic strings, or have 2x kiels - otherwise, AGI is essentially useless for KA (though AGI still helps with snapping and chaining certain "instant" skills (pneuma/hide/etc) faster, and gives some status and masq resist);

as for stats, 80 base AGI looks good (especially for WoE/PvP), regardless of KA;

130 STR is a bit too much (120 should be enough if you plan to use gears that give bonuses for having 120 STR); 120+ eats too much points - instead, you could add a bit more VIT for more HP/survivability;

 

just a warning, KA is rather subpar/inflexible - the fact that it's currently a rarely used build is a testament to this;

at some point it was nerfed/fixed so that the bonus 2nd (knock-back) hit doesn't occur in WoE anymore; this also applies to other settings where knock-back is disabled, such as in poring wars, KvM/BG, vs brynhild users, and vs boss-flagged monsters (ex. kasa, salamander), which includes mini-bosses and MvPs;

WoE sets (especially the ones with ranged reducs) decrease KA damage further in PvP and WoE (on top of WoE's 50% skill damage reduc);

unlike GoH, KA is entirely hit based, so you can miss completely vs high-flee targets like GXes;

before all these, KA was quite nice - now, you might be able to just dish out "some" hurt even with megs;

though...you can always try and see for yourself, maybe you'll like it (or not), it's your shura after all;
