I have nothing in plugins or anything, I don't think I have that. I do have the error though.

Many are getting the same Error, DEV team is working on what caused it now. No ETA on it being fixed yet.

I see what you mean. You can click "check plugins" instead and press start there. Is there a patch though?

Nope not here.
All that happens now is a separate small window opens saying to click to update which it does.
Then it asks to click on continue and Rose opens up yet another launcher window and the whole process just keeps on repeating.
I stopped when it opemed the 4th window and closed them all down.
I'll wait till the morning and hope they sort it by then. Hopefully

This happened to me as well. Every preceding time, the client says its downloading RoseOnline.zip
or something like that

We had an issue with our Patch Server, where the folder vanished on us. (What is going on with stuff vanishing lately?!) So we had to setup a new location and redirect traffic to the new location. Everything should be fine now.

If you (like me) are having a problem with the patcher updating, when it loads, close the actual patcher as quick as you can and let the updater do it's thing. We're going to update the patch process with a new patch client, to try to help with this, but we're not sure why this is being a problem now, when we haven't had these issues before.
We're trying to make sense of this ourselves, but at the same time, get things back to normal working order.

They are working on the issue but if you close that small updating box, you can log in without a problem until there is a fix.
