what weapon is better, should i get both and switch on battle?

better for what?

 

Bellum weapon are WOE and PVP only weapons. They don't have any effect outside WOE and battleground.

 

If i remeber correctly KVM weapons are not allow in WOE.

Get both suras are one of few classes that benefits with both kvm and Bellem claw.

The claw is really good for using g fist as it is instant. Even while under the effects of howl, with the claw you are able to instant g fist. Which is why is good to have In pvp/woe to switch too.

I want to also say that I would get kvm mace no matter what as it has a variety of different usses compared to the claw(pvp/woe only) wep. Can use as a lvling wep in bio as they are Demi human effects apply.

And yes you can use kvm for woe that is what it was designed for. You cannot however use kvm in woe training edition.

wasn't the bellum claw changed so its effect was the same as the kvm fist?

if there were any changes, it's when KvM fist's effect on gfist cast was nerfed from fully instant to near instant (~1/2 sec, still enough to allow weapon switching), and then changed again to essentially a perma-sacra effect (gfist cast becomes ~1 sec) - but these changes were made like years ago;

 

@OP if you have to prioritize, get the mace first (at least +9 refine) for significant damage improvement vs demi-humans;

yes that's the mace;

 

you can search around the market forums for the claw;

i think recently, i saw a +12 selling for about 900m-1b

one last question, what gear should i use, woe set?, kvm?  in classic was  GR/ED/unfrozen medic robe or enchanted VA, like the default gear u should have as a champ, there were few choices for armor/weapon like just 1 weapon, variants, valk shield, doble fatasm headgear etc, but  in renewal theres lots of gears, lots of accesories, armors,shields, i have no idea what gear should i use the "knowledge" of the items/consumables/cards for pvp  are obsolete, Evil Druid card was a must for woe, now is useless i think. everything is upside down.

MP BDM/BFG

handkerchief in mouth
gold scaraba RWC rings (STR+3/VIT+3, FS-3/atk+3%, FS-3/atk+3%)
hiding/sight RWC pendants (STR+3/VIT+3, spell-3, spell-3)
KBC black rosaries
+9 KvM fist, +9~12 KvM mace, +10~12 bellum claw, MDEF+8 long mace
cranial valk (+9~12 cranial immune is mainly just for gfists so...)
+7 gelato hat
2x mace [4] (compound 8x -50 SP drain on switch cards, hotkey for DD crystallize)
+9 FAW, spell 19 (mainly for full-offense/fast-cast GoH solo/PvP, ie. no strings)

 

woe set gives such great reducs (demi, ranged), it's hard to abandon for some other setup; great for surviving large scale fights;

  • +9~ woe robe: GR/angeling/unfro (if you can get very high hard MDEF, total 95-100, you could get away w/out unfro - mainly for CCing/max-reduc mode); tao if you can afford
  • +~ woe muffler: nox/DR
  • +9~ woe shoes: firelock

 

a full-offense (for GoH/TC)setup can get you killed rather fast (or not if you can avoid damage well), but just for reference:

  • +9~12 mystic faceworm snake skin, special VIT, VIT+10~
  • +9~12 superior temporal STR boots
  • BDM[0]
  • 99 love balloons

physical weapon+pendant+earring (shadow), total refine 22~

medium stone upper costume

ATK+1% mid costume

HIT+1 lower costume

ASPD+1 rudra/AAW costume

hard shadow armor + champion shoes (shadow), total refine 15~

+9 cranial shield (shadow)

 

it can be hard to kill a full-reduc char with gfist on a woe set, but more possible with a full gfist setup (MvPing gears), more risk due to low reducs though; guilds usually want shura to CC rather than gfisting around
