So i was checking the game i found it enjoyable then again i was searching for in game features and found about pets and union, i was trying to join the ferrel guild and followed the guide and i cant the dialouge in the guides doesnt appear in game did they removed it already or must i finish quests before i can join any union

The Factions were removed. You can now get all factions quests at the same time and go out on one big quest to cmplete them all.

where can i obtion items such as masks and ferrel bags that were once buyable for points?

mask and ferrel bag are now craftable by an artisan (at least i think that's what you mean)

If you are referring to union items, they can be purchased at the Honor shop NPCs located near the Junon Clan Fields on the west side of Junon.
