in iRO, there is an npc called gramps in eden 1st floor. from 70-150 you can take two daily kill quests and get warped to a map where you need to kill 400 monsters of that type. you turn it in for embs, massive exp, and zeny (VIP-only). if you are VIP you can take both kill quests at once, otherwise you will need to take them one at a time.

additionally you can use a reset stone to reset the gramps timer every 3 hrs if you are just pounding the exp, making the kill quests available for you to take once more. otherwise the quests can only be completed once a day.

a GX with EDP and ok gear should be able to easily solo mid and high TI unless the mobs are stupid, like bio3 monsters or ranged. this week high TI angra mantis and antler scarabas are pretty GX friendly, and you can stack bounty boards and adventurer boards with the high TI for some major double dipping exp action.

First GX took me almost 2 months from 150 to 175. There was no CT at that time. 100% Bio 4

Second GX: 1 week alternating between Bifrost 2 and CT during double exp event.

 

Aww man, looks like my GX won't make it to 175 this event. I'm just 121 lol.

 

 

u can pull 150m exp/hr pretty easily in nightmare clock tower on a gx.  my highest was about 206m in one hour its ridiculous.

Is the double exp required for you to pull this amount of exp ?

Well, make sure you have 80+ invested in Dex! Otherwise you will gave a hard time hitting mobs

You can keep you eye open in ragial in order to buy those DEX vesper cores.
Cheap way to improve ur hit rate.

yes. whatever rates the server is at atm + vip + bmx3 and of course exp boosting gears. With this at level 170 it is really easy to pull 100m in 30 mins. My first run today was starting exactly at 13% level 170 and i reached exactly 50% on one bmx3. That is 130m in 30 mins.

I am using hp large and small pots and assumptio scrolls to acheive this exp rate while burning about 250 flywings.

hmmm does anyone experiencing occasional lag spikes in nightmare CT? i had a few incidents where suddenly i cant RC/ fwing and then dced. after that im already at the save point @.@

No lag on my end. Playing from south america thou, with lowerping.

A DR Garment is the only real option if you can afford that (assuming you have an immune garment now). Oh and a +9 HBP with 90 Vit.

 

Other than that just limit to 2 or 3 at a time until you start increasing your levels. I assume you have full leech gear?

 

Of course any big jumps in damage or attack speed will great help too.

i used +9 iHBP through 175; it wasn't an issue for me. didn't even use any healing items for the most part, +9 hf thanatos and +9 rwh were sufficient to leech enough. for super massive mobs you can do some backsliding to separate them if you absolutely need to.

I'm not saying it isn't doable. I only have iHBP too, but he asked how to reduce damage. That's how to do it!

 

Even sometimes now I get flattened by 6-8. Other times I'll take on 8 at once without a scratch. They've got a habit of walking as block too IMO, so separating can be a pig.

really depends on your hp pool too. if you don't have enough to take a beating then large mobs are unpleasant, but the more monsters in your mob the more delicious exp you get. this is especially important if you're trying to maximize your bmx3. when I was grinding I didn't bother attacking unless there were at least 3-4 big bells on the screen. more mobs also increase the chances of hp leech.

Aside from carding my HPB with raydric, what should i do, i cant afford DR

Put a HunterFly card in your thanatos. That's only 9m. Really you want a +9 RWH too. I think that's around 150m

That will help with leeching hugely.

 

Even with 40k HP I find it a bit irratic.

you really don't want a leaf cat hat for n. ct. you want a +9 rwh for hp leech or +9-+12 drooping eddga for maximum damage. no raydric and no hf hurts too. that's why you're getting your ass handed to you there. also you should absolutely not be using angeling in n. CT.

I also have KBC, where should i put it? Will it help reduce damage?

Yeah dude, you definitely need leeching gears. The only thing that helps us mob so much is the gear. Without it we couldn't kill them like we do.

+9 rwh, thanatos with a hf, raydric and a bathory armor this are required for NCT.

If you get a DR then you will be able to mob 15-20 bigbells. That's massive exp right there. That's about 3m exp

MRS hammer is in right now; it's probably much cheaper for you to make a +9 RWH by yourself. if you have a +11 drooping eddga tho just stick with that although you will need to bring pots. your damage output will be much higher though obviously.

I don't think kbc will be all that useful for you your evil armor will already significantly reduce any incoming shadow damage. unless you like regularly walking into timekeeper's fire pillars, you can save the kbc for something else.

you can also see if a cold heart will give more damage than your RWC accessory since it has a bonus to medium size monsters when paired with rogue treasure.

What shadow damage is there in Nightmare CT? I thought it was all neutral from Big Bells?
