In this thief class forum, all i just see is Gx solo levelling. I think it is really hard for us SC to solo because of builds and being ignored on group TI T_T.

 

Any ideas where SC can solo level from 150 - 175? and also please share some skills/items/stat builds. thanks!

probably Scaraba Nightmare would be easiest for us, via Shadow Spell and Meteor Storm. Have yet to try that myself, though

@fuyukikun, ow nice. ill try to revive my caster SC as well. I thought they were gone because of ASS SCs right now. Is there a TI on nightmare clock tower? or is that exp grinding only? thanks

How about copying fire trap and do the angra mantis bounty. Haven't tried this yet cause i'm from thor server

if you want to you can also find a lot of angra mantis just running through hazy. I generally complete my counts within 2-3 runs depending on where I find the purple dragon.

@rabidmage also, i think fire trap now is really a nerf for chasers that's why i don't see people using it anymore

I already tested the Fire Trap..well as  @10088862625 said it was nerf for chasers

best way of leveling is thru bio4 if you're 150+


btw any other suggestion where to level an ASS SC?

and aspd wise how much do we really need?

I don't play a shadow chaser, but I just wanted to point out that you can go to hazy to get your angra mantis counts since guild dungeons aren't available for you guys in thor yet :x

generally shadow chasers are used in bio4 parties for mob control. usually you're going to be using jack frost or something to that respect. very handy, especially if your party gets a bad gwing.

chasers hardly get accepted at all. best bet is to join a guild that runs bio4 parties frequently, otherwise you'll have to be really aggressive about getting a party (or you can just make your own one).

 

if you want to solo level, you can try some of the new world boards. i've seen some shadow spell chasers leveling on bradium golems before.

 

aspd is going to be your main focus so get it as high as possible. if you can't get 193 you can use a drooping alicel doll to proc max aspd, or a musketeer hat for the adrenaline rush (do these exist on thor?)

Nun hugging a cross? sounds like Isilla card proc to me for that suffragium buff.............

bradium golems won't be that good for long, and the map is pretty huge. in that case you might as well try your luck in scaraba hole dungeon; the monsters on level two are around 140.

also, does musketeer AR work on non-mace/axes? I thought SSC usually use daggers.

nah, rake horn scaraba level is 136, antler is lower. so scaraba still "giving exp" until 166

my bad, forgot. means it stops giving exp at 169, and i think the exp also too small for bounty. but no problem if you want to stacks some bounties like scarabas+hugel+mora eclage+bio2 and turn them all in on one bmx3 blast

bmx3 blasts are delicious, but hugel is not available once you get past 160

i've also found bio2 boards to be quite expensive to complete consumable wise in comparison to the others

Scarab dungeon stops giving exp when you reach lvl 166? hmmmm.. so how long will it take for me to reach level 166 if I'm level 150? ( is there a board quest for scarabs?)
 

Let's say that

 

1. i don't use BMx3.(but he manual)

2. I only depend on the server's exp event

there are board quests in hugel, el dicastes, lhz, and mora for 150+. you might not be able to take on all of monsters listed but they're there. scaraba, the lhz bio boards, and mora boards are all useable through 175 although individual exp from the monsters themselves will start being crap once you get into the higher levels.

hugel board no longer available once you're past 160.
