I've read a lot of posts and guides  but I don't know I can't survive lvling solo either in nogg or mid TI. I use EDP and awaken pots to increase my dps but still I die in a min. hp leech is the worst compared to my sp leeching. What should I do?

 

This is my stats and equips:

 

+6 RWH

CD in Mouth

Ninja Suit

+7 Krishna 2x HF carded

Variant boots

Sin Cuffs

Creamy carded Cat Hand Glove

 

65 STR

90 AGI

50 VIT

80 DEX

get a +9 RWH, especially since MRS Hammer is in game at this time. a +6 does diddly squat for you; there is no difference between a +0 rwh and a +6.

Any other alternatives??My spirit almost faded out because I keep dying

You can wear something else like elemental armors for example for damage reduction instead of ninja suit since you already have decent SP procs.

 

Thanatos katar helps for HP/SP leach. But you have to make a decision between Thanatos katar vs. Krishna + Sin cuff on which setup is better.

 

For RWH if possible you should upgrade it to +9 as suggested above. GX needs some investment in order to solo leveling.

 

Anyway you should always have some pots with you.

RWH @+9 doubles the hp and sp leeched so there's that. Personally, I reached high TI with a +4 rwh simply because I couldn't afford upgrading although with the recent enriched event, I I finally managed to +9 most of my gears.

I started leveling solo in nogg / mid ti when I was at max lvl of rolling cutter and stayed there till ~115 while using a triple hfly jur + edp for clearing and hp leeching. I was having problems using thanatos katar at that time due to my low vit, i can never seem to quickly leech back hp to survive

When you have your vit at 70-80 though, I think you will survive long enough for the thana leech kick in and with thana katar, you will be mowing down mobs.

wear the correct elemental armor, and start pumping vit. try mobbing small numbers of monsters at first and see if you can handle them.

hmm seems nice advice.....I will look for one. Oh yeah got one, I will be wearing swordfish carded armour. I will focusing on str to 90 first then vit. can I solo the instance to get thanatos katar with the setup? one thing is which is better, cenere card or raydric card for my +7 HBP?? temp str or agi?? I will get BP/AD4 for the boot

the only difference in our equip is i use triple mali jur.. 

u shud be ok with +6 RWH since im using +4 xD

btw.. try get a goibne armor.. cheap +10% HP add fireproof pots

get ur priest alt at nogg ent and buff u, dont forget to aspersio

since ur using edp the leech shud be good

 

i find that thana katar only good at higher lvl even tho u can start use it at lvl 120 but it depends on eq..

for example i have to use pots at 120-135. but after that 1 didnt use any pots in scaraba hall 

 

about cenere and raydric.. this is just my opinion but only use cenere if u really struggle to get the aspd u want

100-115 Nogg Road:

Head: +9 RWH

Armor: Nab Cloth FS8+ Porcellio Card

Weapon: +9 Spec Jur 4 HF > +9 Krishna 2 HF (Survivability > ATK due to big mobs at nogg and low hp that new gx's have) Worth using edp, always.

Robe: Nidhogur Garb / +9 HBP (I prefer Nid for more SP leech)

Boots: Temporal Boots Str BP/LD Fs7

Acc: 2 x bakos / RWC FS / Rogue Treasures

 

115-126 Mid TI solo

Gear will depend on the mobs. But stick to RWH + Nid + Hunter Fly combo. At lvl 120+, krishna/Blood Tears/Thanatos Katar > +9 Jur

 

127-150 High Ti solo + Scaraba dungeon 2

EDP + Fire endow for scarabas

 

150-175

Bio 4 parties (best Turn In exp but loooongest wait)

Bifrost Tower 2 (Mora bounty board) : Fire Armor or Angeling + water endow

Nightmare CT (no bounties): Deviling + Fire endow

Luina Guild Dungeon 2: Deviling + Earth armor + Fire endow

 

Thats how I leveled 2 gx's to 175.

i'd go for a raydric for hbp, since hbp is what you'd use for leveling/mobbing and the extra resist helps a lot more than some extra aspd. cenere is more for single target damage, so i'd stick it in a faw or something.

You'll get more mileage from raydric since it offers survivability which is essential while leveling up. As for the Ghost Palace instance (where you get the mats for thana), don't forget that you can steal from the mobs for more gray shards

wow that's a lot of guidance and advice......between nab and sapha which is better?? Noted that porcellio, right now i'm using water armour to lvl at nogg, I have better survivability compared to back then.

sapha is good for crit, nabs is more for general skill use.

water armor reduce fire damage but not as much as fire armor XD

u're right. water extinguish fire. so less dmg but not as low as fire armour XD...... what should I card my RWH and does GX good for bakonawa instance?

you can't hit bakonawa with melee.

I leave my rwh uncarded honestly.

as far as farming shards for your thanatos katar, the instance minimum level is 120 but a 120 GX should have 0 issues running through it. it is a solo instance regardless. don't forget to steal from every mob to get more shards. the thanatos katar requires level 120 anyway so you can't use it until then.

I got my GX to 150 using a +7 3x hf jur and a +9 vanargand helm and never needed consumables. once thanatos katar came into the game I swapped to +9 rwh and 1x hf thanatos katar and never use consumables (besides EDP of course)

I never needed to use edp in ghost palace. it's also not that hard to steal from monsters, especially if you have steal 10 (at a minimum you should have steal level 8 unless you job changed early).

Monsters in Ghost palace don't have high HP. Just prepare an elemental converter for Flame skull in part 2.

 

For soloing instances, after you gain some more level you can try Nidhoggur's Nest. The Nidhogg garb drop rate is decent if you have VIP and HE gum.

 

Other instances for soloing as far as I can think now:

 

• Hazy forest (for OCA). But the price of OCA is not as good as that in the past. Also sometimes that purple dragon just don't drop it.
• Geffen magic tournament
• Devil's tower (lvl 130+)
• Old Glast Heim (lvl 130+) <-- I always use gene to solo so I don't know how to solo by using GX
• Faceworm nest (lvl 140+) <-- Also don't know how to solo by using GX
• Endless Tower <-- Should go with party or you need very decent gear to kill Ifrit and other MVPs after that

oh really . good to know that and may I know the gear needed for the nid instance and how to pass through hazy forest?? @_@ i'm bad at navigation even though there is a guide that shows its road
