It's more of an exerience type of thing.

 

You can check the attack and aspd of the MVP in db's too.

She has 7k-11k attack with 171 aspd. But also has Weapon Quicken and Agi Up, which take her ASPD to like 185 Add power up and she'll be hitting for a TON of damage. She will hit you hard. She also has elemental attacks, Holy Light/Attack and LoV. They hit hard, but she does not spam them at 185 ASPD, so you just need to survive 1 smack of it. A Holy armor will take care of this, since it reduces Holy to 0% and Wind to 75%. Using a DR here will increase Holy to 50% and Wind to 125%, but using a Thunderproof and Valk Shield, you can reduce it back to 70%, enough to survive with high enough HP. Also, using Alice will further reduce the damage (which you need to do). 

 

Maybe Randgris is an extreme example, but many MVP's either don't use elemental (LoD, Doppel, RSX, Beelzebub), or their elemental attacks are neutralized by elemental armors. Check their skills and fight against them. See for yourself what skills cause trouble and how can you take care of them. :3

I've killed a few mvps with my GX already and I can solo ET all the way up to TG.

My main problem right now though is my damage. It sucks.

My highest dmg to mvp is about 3.5k. That's using a Thanatos Katar however.

So my next acquisition will be a chakram with ak cards and assassin cuffs and a +9 little feather hat.

Keep your eye open on TG break weapon skill. You should go with a KVM or coated since if he breaks all ur weapons ur screwed.

I like the chakram combo because of the 2aspd enchant. My gxs are currently in agi build, because of a few tests ongoing but the 2aspd enchant works really nice with LUK boots.

Would the deviant garment not exaggerate the fire attack he does though? I can't get hold of a devilling card for the life of me anyway.

 

400 white's?! That's insane and not worth it lol! How do you have enough time to attack if you're spamming whites?

 

Here's an updated vid of my DD CRIT GX killing Time Holder. I used Leib Olamai Mid (+10% Fire Resist) and Fireproof Pot (+20%). I have a replay of my katar GX somewhere killing it. I'll upload it or just gonna make another one if I can't find it. Takes an extra 1-2 min to kill it with katar though. 

 

The exp gained on BMx3 is worth cost of killing it.

3.5 even with EDP? What about Dark Claw or an elemental converter?

Don't worry, as increasingly OP gear comes out we'll eventually have a dual-sword crit build and then the dreaded dual-axe crit build.

I'm being silly, but I can imagine it happening if they keep buffing costumes to give silly stuff like +1 aspd.

 

And ofc the level cap won't stay at 175 forever.

 

I mean, we already have guaranteed procs to put you at ASPD 193, so you could theoretically do it now (just no good axes to use, but some good swords to use.) 

 

I'm currently working on a GX that's pure int, luck, and dex based. He will use 2 4-slotted axes full of racial magic attack cards and will exclusively spam level 5 soul strike scrolls.

 

His name: Aym Uh Wizzurd

Guys are there any working stat calcs out there? The irowiki one seems wrong / out of tdate?

 

If I have 120 AGI and +12 Temp AGI boots what ASPD would I be looking at?

The irowiki one works pretty accurately for me, are you sure you're plugging in the correct info? 

 

Still, we can just use the basic formula in the excel book.

 

Assuming you're using a katar + awakening potion and that you have least +20 agi from various sources (job level bonus, shadow gear, vip buffs, etc.), a total of 60 dex, no other buffs/boosts from items/equipment you should have 189.09.

 

If you have a +9 backpack with that, then 190.80. 

 

edit: forgot the 10% from 'aspd 4' on the temp boots. Fixed.

Only 190 ASPD with all that is a bit disappointing, I didn't realise it was THAT hard to go to 193!

the calc is missing a lot of the newer items. you can kind of compensate for them though with the additional enchants section (e.g. for +12 temp agi ad4 boots at 120 agi you can add 22% aspd and 1 flat aspd)

 

getting to 193 aspd with 120 agi isn't too hard but you will need more aspd gear or rely on some consumables.

+10 foods overwrite VIP Buffs. +20 foods stack with either VIP or +10.

You can also add guarana candy and enriched celermine juice for a bit of an extra push.

Guarana for the agi up effect (level 5, but eh), and enriched celermine juice counts as equip % aspd so it stacks in a weird way.

Yeah, it's kinda troublesome for GX.

 

What I do:

 

- Cloak, go to the center of the mob, RC. Then backslide. repeat to another hot spot.

- use CRS to clear the singular opponents

All MVPs after Mistress are already spawned in floors IIRC.

For the ranged mobs, CRS or pull them into a safe range. I haven't tried grimtooth though. The archer, hydra and plant rooms usually take the longest to finish because of this. Heads up regarding Drake: Even with water armor and coldproof pots, his waterball still hurts like hell. If he starts spamming it till kingdom come, I can't outpot it even with Ren's slims.
