How come that the Elven Bow is  superior than Big Crossbow in terms of Warg Damage~
Big Xbow is a lvl 4 Weapon same Weapon ATK with BIG XBOW difference only is +2DEX~
Level 4 Weapon = +7ATK/Refine
Level 3 Weapon = +5ATK/Refine

your thoughts and suggestions would be highly appreciated

It should still be quite accurate.

 

Basically, as Ashuckel said: go for the lv 4 bow with the highest ATK and enchants/card slots. Creeper Bow is a cheaper alternative than BXB if you only want a bow for warg strike..

Thanatos bow is actually ok I've been testing it out a bit for the matk+CD for an autocast ranger I see it shining with a stormy knight card

but I still prefer Elven over all other bows for the 50% ranged dmg bonus

Imo big crossbow is only worth using if you have sharp enchants on it for autowarg

warg strike is only affected by stat dmg (left side atk dmg). Hence more dex, luk and str will increase warg strike dmg. Doesnt matter what bow but if u want more dmg for auto attack to go with your warg strike, then go for elven bow combo. elven bow give +2 dex too = more warg strike dmg.

Actually, it's affected by weapon attack and enemy defense too (despite the description saying that it bypasses enemy defense).

 

It's just not affected by the range bonus..

Yeah that's true, that's why Thanatos card is amazing. It applies to the warg

so i think i'd go for Elven Bow for Auto Warg since it gives +50% Arrow Damage compared to GXBOW that boosts  Arrow Storm only :3 
and ohhh that Thanatos Bow and CD Combo sounds interesting

BXB is better in ma opinion...

 

I have a +2 DEX BXB (so,same secondary effect as elven bow)

 

BXB is a level 4 weapon,2 slot(ash already said it),+1ASPD if u have 120 agi 

 

so... i dont see any reason to use elven bow...

 

Ok,elven bow has +50% ranged damage but... does basic attack really count nowadays? i mean,auto attack damage(without warg) is almost useless for PVP/WOE and the difference between BXB ~ Elven is not dat hugee.

 

Well,U can card BXB with (u can put thanatos instead SS,whatever)

 

• Randgris/SS (pvp/woe)

 

• SS/TG (more for hybrid/woe types)

 

• SS/SK or Randgris/SK (PVP/WOE)

 

• SK/Corruption Root (PVP/WOE/MVP)

 

and elven...? just 1 option :/ BXB <3

 

When bio 5 arrive here... well... Warg strike will do 40k~55k Damage (Striking,SS Card,+12 bio 5 headgear,proper build for warg,bless,dex+20,dance with wargs,dex+200 Enchant).

 

Will be more effective a double carded bow than 1 slot bow(im not even talking about the hybrid aspect since bio 5 headgear gives ranged damage too)

Eddga proc is GREAT for arrows and no limits when warging.

 

It would have to be tested to see what one came out on top.

I don't think i'd give up my +12 CEB for PVP/woe though I haven't done both in a while. I think I'm pretty content with the DWW buff even though it was nerfed. I did enjoy it before.

i will give up my +12 ceb easily.

 

I dont think +12 CEB is a 100% usefull gear for WW rangers,i mean... 16% resist is good but most of times (like 90%) u still die 1 hit for everything.

 

And if i want to endure something... i'll switch to manual warg type(and probably i will switch CEB / Bio 5 Headgear)

 

but yeah,CEB is really good,i just want More warg damage cause its my favorite skill

I'm not too sure about dying 90% but I did had my moment of not wearing ceb. You'll die more and do less dmg. If you are already doing low dmg with ceb on, there's more chances you'll do 0 dmg(miss) regular atk if you don't have MVP cards on a full reduction geared player. That would mean your warg won't even proc when that happens.
Anyway, I can't really say anything about that gear until it comes out. But nerfing DWW and coming up with this headgear after is pretty hilarious to me.
Wearing that headgear would prolly be like wearing autumn headband for arrow storm. You get to do better damage than wearing ceb in PVP/wo... Oh wait I think they disabled it in woe lol.

Speaking of new gears for warg, that new brave suit coming out looks neat. I really like it until I saw the autocast improve concentration. I'm not too thrilled about that. I wonder if it would be bad for hitlocking.

Read it properly. He doesn't care for it, but saying that the suit as a whole is good except for that addition.
