Hi all - just bought a week's VIP after another long break from RO for a year or 2.  I've got a 99 sin, 99 wiz, 101 AB, 90 hunter, 79 smith.

My AB is still reasonably well geared (healing staff, immune nyd) though the rest aren't exactly.  I'm wondering if anyone had any "you should definitely do this with your _____" advice?

I'm also wondering how best to gear my guys. I've looked around and seen so many new items/gears I've never seen before so it's clear the game continues to pump new ones in while I'm away.  I've been playing my smith/hunter a bit with friends lower lvl guys whilst partying my 101 AB with my friends 103 ranger.

Anyone have any recommendations for my hunter who is full falcon auto bb type - he's 99 agi and 79 luk currently with 2 crit rings.  I'm thinking the more crit or luk the better.  Maybe the grand peco card in a headgear for Gloria chance?  I bought one for 140k thinking why not. I'm also using a +7 hunter bow with hunter arrows since they don't really make a dif if it's my falcon dmg that counts.

My smith I'm just using a basic +5 vvs ice 2h axe and running around smacking stuff and a bit of cart rec.  I'm somewhat meandering between catrev/agi builds but right now hes 50 str 50 agi 60 vit 50 dex and sadly he has issues hitting things!  I guess I'm going agi build not cart rev if I take the dex up any higher.  No idea what to gear him with.

The sin has been so long since I 99's him on magmarings - I think he was built for doublestrike build - he's not crit or katars.

The wiz was standing int/dex wiz and eventually (just before 99) became a powerful force with phen/CoD on 

Any input on gear or builds is welcome, in the meantime I'm flapping about trying to research it and work out what to do otherwise just running about havin a bit of fun with mates which is fine but it's nice to kick ass while doing so

all your chars can also do the various gramps quests; your AB can do mid-TI and the others low-TI. it's the fastest way to get exp.

your hunter can also do the juno bounty boards (harpies in particular) to 99. your 79 smith can actually go to overlook dungeon (since you are VIP). the overlook dungeon max level has been raised to 85. complete the kill quests in overlook and you can get a free card too.

as a vip you also have access to free mercenaries every 3 hrs from eden 1st floor. there are two npcs on the right side, one sends you to the various areas (overlook, mvp summoner, high orcs) and the other npc below him gives you the free mercs. take them along to overlook or while you hunt harpies.

since you're VIP you should just go ahead and rebirth your sin and wiz now for free (otherwise it costs 1.285 mil to trans). keep in mind that you have unlimited skill resets so long as you remain 99 or below (hypnotist npc in pront and izlude)

there are anniversary events going on in comodo at this time where you can get a costume set that provides +12 to all stats so that will help you in your leveling.

as far as specific builds for your different classes you should poke around in the class sections on these forums as there will be people there who can go more in-depth with any queries you may have.

Thanks for the ideas - tried harpies last night (not enough of the other monsters there to get 150) and it was good XP handing in but not sure if it's faster than killing hillwinds/anacondaqs/roweens east of Rachel.  Looking at the eden warp guy and overlook says 30-75?  west orc village is i70-99.  My hunter is currently 92.5 and finding crit gear helps the falcon fly (crit 40 atm - need more!!!) at the cost of flee gear (boo)

I forgot about the transcending cost to non VIPs - it does make sense to trans them while VIP.

Are skill resets free?  No ingame/kafra item needed?  I guess you can stat reset but that does require cost?

going one south of juno is just to complete the harpy board, no point in completing the other monsters on the board unless you want the emb award for turning them in all at once. if you're just trying to get 99 as fast as possible I'd stick with just spamming harpies and doing gramps TI each day.

Rachel is spotlit this time around so the monsters exp is increased as is the spawn. however there are no bounty boards there so you will miss out on bb's bonus exp and zeny that way. Rachel might still be faster though so you can try it out.

the ingame description is wrong for overlook. you can go in through level 85. just talk to the kapha once you get warped from eden.

skill resets are always free and you have an unlimited amount as long as you are 99 or under. the hypnotist npc in izlude and pront will do it for you but you need to have 0 weight.

Currently there is a Mesmerist npc in eden who will provide a free stat AND skill reset, but I wouldn't waste it on a pre-trans char since you'll be transing it anyway and you will get to redo your stats for free that way.
