Looking for budget better equipment. Bow/Caster build. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've read a lot of guides, but this is my only character and I don't have billions going for me quite yet. Primarily looking for PvM

Orc Archer Bow is the best one we have (Idk if it's still, I just came back from hiatus last 2 weeks lol). Use Steel Arrows.

With such a constrained budget you won't get anything quality. Your best bet would be a Double Kingbird Gakkung, if you're dead set on spending 15m tops.

An Orc Archer Bow is the best bow to get. Best used with steel arrow that you can get by converting elunium via archer's arrow craft skill.

 

For accessory I suggest you to buy Vesper Core 04 (Dex +3, Hit +10) that currently sell for 1.5m right now. That is way much better than buying a zerom card with an absurd price of 6m lol

Any additional suggestions, specifically on boots/garment/body armor/mid headgear?

For cheap shoes, right now I would go with clean Variant Shoes once you hit level 85. The +20% MHP & MSP is nice for only ~3m. You can upgrade them later into enhanced variants or go with a temporal stat shoe later on. Just keep them at +0.

 

For cheap armor, Thief's Clothing [1] sells for under 500k, gives 40 def and AGI+1, and you can get a Peco Peco card for around 5m for +10% MHP.

 

Cheap garment, your best bet is Valkyrian Manteau [1] for ~750k with Aliot card ~700k. More HP and STR is good.

 

As for mid headgear, it can get pricey fast, so I would focus on leveling before it.

 

I'm aware there are alternatives, but on a budget it is rough. Look into saving up for a CD in Mouth for extra magical damage.

Other than Cd in mouth, a Well-Chewed Pencil is also a good choice to consider.

For armor you should aim for Byorgue carded armor (Diabolus armor + Diabolus Ring combo is good I think) or you can just use eden armor with Dex enchant

For garment try to get a FAW (its cheaper to get right now) or just use Eden Manteau with Dex enchant would suffice.

A +0 Variant boots is the best right now to survive the low TI monsters, but aim for temp Dex boot when you become SC later

 

p/s just +5 that OAB for extra damage, it wont break

I may hybridize later but I enjoy ranged attacks. /heh

when you get to chaser if you want to level w/ autocasts you kinda have to switch to daggers for shadow spell :/

otherwise the best bow leveling build for a chaser is to copy arrow storm for TI parties. for that the best weapon will be an OAB (orc archer bow) + steel arrows. a FAW is a fallen angel wing, which can be enchanted with lots of cool stuff: http://irowiki.org/w...l_Wing_Enchants

In case you didn't know, rogue class kinda sucks at PVM... And by that your AS damage is going to be about half of what rangers can do with their AS and the skill cost double SP from normal.

 

So consider getting an Incubus pet for SP leeching later (incubus egg is very cheap right now btw)
