Hey, everyone.

 

We've taken in a lot of feedback over the past week about the change in Phantom Pyramid items, how it affected the market and what certain players bought, and even some conspiracies about an inside job.

 

We decided we are going to adopt a new patch notes announcement strategy so that we avoid any chaos that may be caused by changing patch notes before maintenance:

 

• Friday before maintenance, we will announce any events that are closing or starting, in order to give players an extra chance at running through them before they go away.
• The rest of the patch notes (Shop cycles, sales, bug fixes, etc) will be posted at the time of Monday's maintenance.

 

There will likely be special situations where we have to diverge from this, however this should make it so we don't cause any market trouble for players, at the minor risk of the notes being up a little later than normal.

 

I welcome any discussion, feedback, GIFs, or squid pics on this topic here or in PM, if you prefer.

Would be nice though to have an odd poll where us players get to vote to influence what we get from the pyramid/boxes/etc.

So the only one who knows what changes w/c are about to happen before maintenance are the VCR's. Well I don't wanna join in a stressful job w/c doesn't pay either.

On the bright side, I won't have to wake up early anymore just to check forums and read the patch notes.

This thread tells you much about the game.

 

Like I said countless times: Gravity should come up with a plan. Defining a clear concept or long-time goal adds stability, reliability and credibility to your product. The forum design events, the VCR system and other forms of a community feedback can then be used to maximize the player contentment and motivation, and to to minimize the development efforts by focussing on the scoring aspects.

 

One litte incident later - for me it's irrelevant if it was significant, consensual, more profitable or the opposite - and all that is lost again.

WarpPortal jumps in, changes it's mind and we're back to secrecy, rumors and unforseen inputs. And such a policy even gets up-votes.

All caused by one little flower...

 

Let's say your mother invites you to a family reunion. you promised her to come by, but didn't make it there because you got sick, your car broke, you couldn't get a day off or due to any other reason. She ended up disappointed because she prepared too much food and you even missed your aunt & uncle, who were soo eager to meet you. So what would be your reaction? Would you apologize and promise her that it won't happen again OR would you tell her that if she dares to get disappointed although you can't assure that you'll make it, you never ever make any promises again (unless you stand right in front of her door)? IMO, WarpPortal did the latter.

Normally when munil boxes were on discount sale fusion mats were included though not as of this week. Will we have fusion discount sale after maintenance? Getting ready for Jawaii also requires us to rune our gears apart from upgrading & honing(had been on sale), rune removers should also be on discount sale. These discounted items actually increase kafra shop sales. Some players wait for such discount to load up kafra points.

LoL this actually happned to me and my mate a few months ago. 2 vs 8 players from a guild. and guess what? my mate won the colo. I LoL'ed so hard at that time. quality vs quantity... Quality won
