I'm a level 108 gene and my aim is for my gene to be able to solo instances (hazy, ogh, etc.)

 

As for now, since I am still weak [lol], I'm thinking about buying a witch pumpkin hat and alarm mask but do they still have that healing effect?

 

Suppose that i have the equipment below already, at what level could i solo hazy? ogh?

+4 Cranial Valk shield

Orleans gown

+7 hbp

+4 enhanced variant shoes

rwc accessories

 

And please suggest headgears that are within my budget (around 150m).

Why do u need Cranial Shield? Get a Hodremlin shield.

Sell your E.Variant Shoes,Buy a Variant Shoes (3m) then use the zeny to buy a Ray card and +7 your RTE.

Hazy is doable by your level, just need the basic skills maxed to be efficient. Cart Remodeling 5->Cart Cannon 5->Cart Boost 5. The MVP shouldn't be too hard, I'd say you'll have more problems with the mob in the maze itself as they hit hard and fast. Try it and see how it goes. :3

 

You can only enter OGH at 130, so that's the minimum level to solo it XD Though, OGH is quite hard and you need some specialized equips to be able to survive it on your own. With your equips, it will be very difficult to solo it.

As for the headgear for your budget, WPH is an excellent option for leveling already. You could concentrate on other things, like making the sword/backpack +9, getting a Hodremlin shield or supplies. Also, if you can't afford to +9 the E. Variants, marie's advice is quite good. Sell them and buy other stuff.

I tried hazy at level 115 and it was funny. I only have around 7k damage with CC and 40k damage to the dragon for acid bomb. And CC's casting time is too long LOL (Basic skills already maxed - Cart Remodeling 5, Cart Cannon 5, Cart Boost 5). I got killed many times and I was only able to fight with the dragon when I had a tanker with me.

 

My current equips are:

 

+7 RTE (No AS yet.)

+4 Cranial Valk shield

Orleans gown

+7 hbp

+4 enhanced variant shoes

RWC accessories (enchants were most on magic, not on decrease casting time).

 

My stats are:

Str 90

Agi 1

Int 91

Vit 60+

Dex 70

Luk 1

 

What are some improvements i should do with my gears to have faster casting time? Please be reminded I couldn't afford CoD with KK yet.

+4 Cranial Valk shield - Thara frog card is for Demi Human/if you want to have all around reduction i would suggest Hodremlin Card 

Orleans gown - Card this with element/racial reduction or just porcellio card

+7 hbp - Card this with Raydric

+4 enhanced variant shoes - if you cant make it to +9 might as well use Variant Shoes. E. Variant make the HP/SP Effect to 12%

RWC accessories (enchants were most on magic, not on decrease casting time). - you would want to reset this to get spell enchant

you might want to read the Gene guide thread its very helpful, I don't know if its updated but it's still very helpful for me. thats where I get some idea on my Gene.

Before, i use airship captain hat (7% ranged damage). Its decent. Untill you can buy +9 EMH with dark ping card.

The stuff ChickenPorkAdobo posted in blue isn't wrong. Keep your variants[1] though; do a few turn ins (less if you're VIP) and exchange 8 eden merit badge for a magical stone. You can still it to another player for 4-5m; buy your non-enhanced variants like that. Don't sell gear that you will eventually need, its a bad strategy.

You can get a fast cast CC with KK cod while wearing ea FAW, you just need to switch around and compensate for the cast time reduc gears you lack. You can start by getting at least spell 2/2 on your rwc rings, and if you really need the cast time, try getting a spell 4 temp boots

 

and to be honest cod by itself already gives a nice cast time reduc for your cc, even at only +7 and even without a KK, so you can make that your short term goal, and make getting a KK and +9ing the cod a long term goal

I think the spell-enchanted fallen angel wing is the best bang for the buck, and its better to get that first so you don't waste the raydric on a heroic backpack. spell faw is much cheaper than a KK CoD and gives about the same cast reduction.

You can make a double spell Erde for a cheap cast reduction weapon too. But you lose the natural fire enchant of the RTE which helps you save converters for Hazy.

Any GH shoes with a spell enchant will help you a bit too. If you're potting constantly using cheap pumpkins with your WPH + Alarm Mask the loss in HP might be okay.

You might get stunned at a lower level, maybe to something like Sonic Blow from Angra Mantis. But I think it should be do-able or pottable.
