Is 100% cast time reduction+100% fixed time reduction Kagerou viable?

On paper, it seems like a very viable thing(I never like to fully based things "on paper"). Has anyone tried putting it into action? If so, how viable is it in PvP/PvM/WoE scenarios?

In general. An example would be a battle AB is like near 0% viable for WoE, so it doesn't meet the general WoE viability.

Can't answer. Too vague.

 

You need to frame it.

 

1) Do you know how viable ANY kagerou/oboro is?

2) What gear are you sacrificing to get the 100% cast reduction?

 

3) The difference in gear from #2 will mod your opinion of #1.

K/O have very low viability, and modding the gear for cast times won't change that.

 

Negative points for WoE

 - Low HP

 - Low Damage

 - Niche support skills that aren't "necessary".

 _ if I am not mistaken they cannot get 175? Stuck at 160? So they have no stun resistance or etc in WoE. Superbad.

 

If you're happy with contributing some unique stuff but largely not bringing as much to the team as a core class, you might call it viable.

Well all the parts needed to instant cast I'd assume is the helm, the helm cards, weapon, garment, and accessories.

So in short, that means they aren't really viable in WoE. Thanks. In a sense, calling it viable in WoE at this point would just be like saying battle AB is viable because they can still buff(very limited buffs before running out of sp) lol.

You're lowing your viability w/ headgear (no beret)

 

What you get in exchange (making low damage skills castable) is not improving your viability.

 

Maybe someone who is a diehard K/O fan will pop up and defend their viability for you. :p_idea:

PvP/WoE, nope.

PvM/MvP, able to solo Hazy/Octopus/haven't tried anything else :P, low-tier MvPs (no/weak EQ/skills), etc.

Lol don't think I need a die hard fan to convince me the viability since it'd probably a very biased opinion. Alright thanks guys, I'll skip on the Kagerou and save myself the trouble.

It's not hard to do in PVM because you can dual wield, so you can have up to 40% cast reduction from just the weapons. The rest would be very easy and would probably be gears that you'd share with your other characters anyway. The spell enchants are also probably what you'd want to be wearing already anyway because they also give you extra MATK. Fixed cast is all gone with 16th night of course.

Viable... really depends on your definition of it. You'd be able to do certain things but don't expect to compete with the core classes at almost anything. Comparing with other K/O builds, magic might be slightly inferior too to be honest. In terms of fun, again, that's personal preference.
