I started playing again recently and I have a lvl85 mastersmith, i had this chracters since pre-renewal.

Im planning to level up this character on west orc village (high orcs) but the map is no longer there, what happened to this map? Can this still be accessed?

Also, i just recently bought a +7 triple smashing Axe to be used for Orc hunting but this weapon seems to be giving a very low damage output against Orcs despite haveing 3 Orc lady cards. I compared the damage to my +5 Epsilon and found that the Epsilon is making more damage.

It feels that the Orc lady card no longer works in renewal, could someone please enlighten me?

Also i would also like to be recommened a levelling spot for my lvl85 mastersmith (solo'ng with average gears). I would use google for leveling spot guides but it seems that every guides are less and less accurate after renewal.

You can access West Orc Village if you have VIP. As for the card, I have no idea since  I dont personally use them.

You can also do Low TI or follow a bit of this.

Thanks for the help.

It seems i did not do enough research on this.

I used http://calc.irowiki.org/ to calculate all combat inputs and stuff.

I wasted a few millions and time to buy gears which didn't help at all :(

Axe[3] is a lv 1 weapon, so at +7, it only gives you a total of 38 + (7*2) = 52 atk from refining (lv 1 weapon gives +2 atk per refine lv). Add the orcs modifier = 3x orc lady card = 3*30 = 90% increase to orcs. So it'll roughly gives you 52*1.9 = 98.8 atk.

Your Light Epsilon, on the other hand, already has 180 base atk. That alone beats the previous damage already. Add in the refine level, and you have roughly 180 + (5 * 7) = 215 atk (lv 4 weapon gives +7 atk per refine lv).

The simplest answer to the atk issue is that Renewal changed the way atk works quite dramatically, and it makes your weapon atk (not equip atk, but specifically weapon atk) very, very important.

Previously, end game weapons were often level 1 (because those tend to have 4 card slots) and relied on your stats for the primary source of damage and used the abundance of cards to amplify it. Now, because status atk is nowhere near as useful as before, you want to rely on a powerful weapon above all else.
