DB damage is based on your Current HP and Max SP.

 

Also the formula for DB i think only gets decent once you pass level 125, Something about base level in the equation.

 

Anything that increases Ranged damage/HP/sp would help. 

 

So 250 Sp urs seals, EA 10 FAW with menblatt, +12 turkey with bungisnis, (why cd in mouth? get a long octopus balloon)

according to the wiki, this is the formular for DB

Damage = [(CurrHP ÷ 50) + (MaxSP ÷ 4)] × (SkillLv × BaseLv ÷ 150) × (95 + DragonTraining_Lv × 5)% 
× (100 + Ranged Damage Modifers)% x (Elemental Modifiers)% x (100 + Racial Modifiers)%

The level is a bit low, but that just means the modifier is 7.x instead of 10, so a 30% drop there. 

 

But are you doing 8k to 10k on the dark pingus, or on the ice titans? Cuz Ice titans are water element, so you're always going to do poor/subpar damage on them with your two breath attacks. The dark pingus should take full damage, so use that as a basis of reference. Also, make sure to keep your HP up. 

 

My calculations say you should be doing 14k at max HP against a neutral/100% damage enemy. So... yeah, you were probably counting 8-10k on ice titans which take 70% fire damage, which is about right for 10k/14k.

make sure you have dragon training maxed too

 

edit: and make sure you're casting dragon breath 10, i've made that mistake before lolz

Is your CURRENT HP not at max? If you're being hit, and you're at 50% HP, your damage will only be 50% of the maximum potential.

Please also note which monsters you are targeting exactly, and which DB you are using (Fire or Water). Element matters.
