Why am I being penalised for using a cart? Its taxing my exp and my sanity. I have come back to this game on and off for years - played since the beta when every town was full of people and shops, must be at least 10years or more, I think was on dialup back then and took 3 days to download. Its kinda fun but also very frustrating due to simple small gameplay flaws.
Managed to get a mount from spins a couple years back when I last played on my Arty account (2013 for a couple months), its nice you don't lose buffs when riding it so can take a couple handfuls of hits. Unlike cart on my cleric account, cant even ride through grey/white mobs and take 3 hits or so. Yet another gripe with gameplay its just plain stupid to lose exp just for trying to drive through a map. Grey mobs SHOULD be missing me not hitting for a couple k. Every MMO I have played (and its alot) use this mechanic.
Riding a mount doesn't kill buffs or Def/MDef but you can easily get knocked off, riding a cart kills any kind of buff and def you have but you wont be knocked off. How about combine the best parts of both programming and apply to all carts/mounts. Surely thats a project that could be achieved without too much pain? After all these years...gameplay in alot of areas just make me /facepalm.
