Hi to all GX users here at iRO

I just recently got this GX headgear, Oni Horns [1]  :p_laugh:

I was thinking on putting either a Vanberk Card or a Angra Mantis Card but are there any other cards that I should take into consideration? Particularly, are there cards that can help boost the the bonus effect of this equipment? I plan to utilize this gear for PvM / MVP purposes and my build is more on CRIT. :Emo_17:

Here's a sample video of mine dealing with 1 MVP but it was during our pRO Valkyrie days. I love using Weapon Block-Counter Slash especially when dealing summoned Boss mobs  :Emo_16:

Of course, I need to refine this equipment at least +7 or +9 to make it happen. :wah:

Always appreciate your thoughts, criticisms and suggestions. :thx:

The proc rate on vanberk is really low. From my experience it rarely procs, even at 193 aspd.
Think ur better of with either angra or dark pinguicula (both are cheap nowadays).

Thanks for the insight @atsilva. I think I will put another Angra Mantis Card in this headgear :thx:

Hm, Angra Mantis increases critical damage, something which isn't supported by Oni Horns[1], unless you're planning to default this hat while auto-critting as well.

I think Gemini (to prevent silence and stun) is a better choice. Being stunned while mobbing, or being silenced when Weapon Block procs is kinda.. x_x

The headgear doesn't actually work here, very few of the class headgears do.

More likely that would be my scenario when using Oni Horns [1] but listening to your advice I realized something better :p_laugh: .

I did more research and found this formula  :ic:

[Counter Slash] Damage (ATK)% = (Base_Damage × BaseLv ÷ 120) + (AGI × 2) + (JobLv × 4)

A Nightmare Card (+1 AGI + Immunity to Sleep) can be an option but a Gemini-S58 Card is much more convincing especially with the scenario you gave me @DeadIntern. Thanks :thx:

Really? Hmm I guess I need to simulate and compare the damage. Thanks for the heads up, @Omegatroid :thx:

my GX is CS type and i use oni horns from level 100 until now, the added damage is working as intended. yeah, the hat is skill based hat, so putting angra mantis which more to autoattack is kinda mismatch

Because flee is not very useful when mobbing. Only when u have like 3 monsters on you. After that they start to hit you very frequently.

Well, for one, the +30 flee is based on a proc from magic attacks.
