Happy Hour Boxes drop four times a day:

08:00-09:00

14:00-15:00

20:00-21:00

 

Players have a chance to get an additional box drop during this time by farming monsters within a five level range of the player that will randomly pop out a useful item.

Servant of Jawaii Event

July 6, 2015 to Jawaii’s Release

Servants of Jawaii’s Wonderland are wreaking havoc on Rune-Midgarts! They are up to a familiar trick, stealing rice cakes. Find them in fields to reclaim the purloined rice cakes! Find the Rice Cake Fairy in Prontera to turn in the cakes in for items.

 

Rice Cake

STR +20, AGI +20, WIL +20,INT +20,Health +20 (10 min duration)

Cactis Rice Cake

HP +500, EXP +5%  (10 min duration)

Mugwort Rice Cake

Physical Attack Power+200,Magical Attack Power +200, Drop rate +5% (10 min duration)

Rice Cake Bag

Physical Attack Power+200 , Magical Attack Power +200,HP +500,EXP +5%, Drop rate +5%, STR +20, AGI +20, WIL +20,INT +20,Health +20 (One Hour effect)

 

 

 

The Rice Cake Fairy will trade:

15 Murgwort Rice Cakes for 1 Rice Cake Bag

15 Cactis Rice Cakes for 1 Rice Cake Bag

15 Rice Cakes for 1 Rice Cake Bag

30 Rice Cake Bags for a Traditional Costume Box

15 Rice Cake Bags for a Party Mask Random Box

 

Note: The following items will be removed after the event ends (when Jawaii releases):

The Traditional Costume Box gives one item:

Hanbok (M/F)
Kimono (M/F)

Oriental Dress or Suit

These costumes will give you an item drop rate of +10% during the duration of the event.

Curious how they only changed the story behind the event: same cakes, same undefined gender npc, same trad costumes and mask boxes...

No weekday EXP rate? It would attract and increase the amount of players.

Every second week of the month there is the Exp event, where they increase exp bonus on weekdays. So you if you wish you can farm hhb while you wait.

These costumes will give you an MP loss decrease of -25% and an item drop rate of +10% during the duration of the event.

will the costumes from the eddga rice cake event get this effect again as well?

Does that cancel the "no MP loss till Jawaii release?"

Made some adjustments.

 

The Traditional Costumes won't have a decrease to MP loss, since we disabled it for the same event period (until Jawaii releases).

 

Also, noted that the event items will  be removed at the end of the event, similar to the New Year's version we ran a few months ago.

 

 

Dapara's EXP week will be next week. Happy Hour Boxes are typically the first full week of each month, and Dapara follows that. Sorry for the confusion.

I would like to see the savage and the crab thing...what was it....cornutus or whatever back in the boxes for mounts.  The others seem to get re-released a lot and those don't.  

 

Yay for fallen angel wings and rice cakes though.  

 

The rest of it...meh.  Those costumes are still flooding the AH from 6 months ago.  Different ones would have been nice.  *shrugs*

In simple terms, HHB is a farming event that will last until next maintenance (on monday). Until then, there will be four Happy Hours per day, at 2:00, 8:00, 14:00 and 20:00 (based in the game's clock).

 

During those happy hours, any monster in a 5-level range will have a chance to drop Happy Hour Boxes that contain the items listed in the first post (same as with other boxes, you have a chance to get one of the items listed). For example, a ML1 character could be grinding at condors and loot boxes from them since they're within the range.

Oh HHB means Happy Hour Box. Every day at 2:00 AM,8:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM in server time all monsters of Midgard in your level range (5 levels lower or above your character) have a chance to drop those boxes. This event is a great way to get some items.

Hi , i'm sorry but i'm still new to here. I would like to know if there's a way to manual patch this new patch ? I just finished installing the game after 3 days of downloading . And the patch is taking forever and i thought on downloading the patch at the nearby cyber cafe and just manual patch it. Sorry for the newbie question  !

It seems like pdd was never in the box in the first place, looks like it is another description error:

I read about but wasn't too sure.

 

 

And I have yet to see a PDD pop out of those boxes, granted got few boxes the other time, but not one. Neither with some friends.

hmm yeah, i bet that's what happened

I alrdy got 1 when pdd's first came out, but never again (the lack of free time helped a lot for this)
