It is (n - 6) STR, where n is the upgrade level.

Suppose that the upgrade level of your hat is 9 and the Seyren Windsor card is compounded to upgraded hat, then the STR is +3.

Sorry I am noob, how is this card better than dark ping?let's say the headgear is refined at +12,the benefits will be str +6.

ATK = StatusATK × 2 + WeaponATK + EquipATK + MasteryATK

 

WeaponATK = ( BaseWeaponATK + Variance + STRBonus + RefinementBonus ) × SizePenalty

 

STRBonus (melee weapons) = BaseWeaponATK × STR ÷ 200

 

STR will give (2xSTR) status atk and STR Bonus that will count towards your weapon atk. The STR Bonus depends on your Base Weapon Atk too. RTE (base atk: 160) for example, gives (160/200) ATK per STR pts. Hurricane Fury (base atk: 332) gets 1.6 ATK per STR pts.

STR - 6 and adds the STR equal to the compounded helmet's upgrade level.

f(n) := n - 6

where f(n) is STR and n is the upgrade level.

Suppose that the upgrade level of the headgear with the compounded Seyren Windsor card is 20, then the STR is +14.

Prove:
Given the definition and upgrade level:
f(n) := n - 6
n = 20

Solution:
f(20) = 20 - 6
f(20) = 14
Hence, the STR is +14. ∎

based on hurricane fury then +12 seyren headgear gives +9.6 atk vs +10 from dark ping? dark ping still better?

Ah there's the status atk too. So, the +6 STR would translate to +12 Status ATK and +9.6 Weapon ATK. Slightly better, I guess?

are you asking if that's better than snake head or eddga doll? I don't expect it would be, but it may depend on your situation.
