would we be able to retrieve mail sent? or just be able to get the name of who it was sent to?

I'd rather just know that mail records are kept server side, unless the record only keeps track of mail for the month or something. Having every single piece of mail in the record would make it too long.

Also, hackers in a lot of games delete characters to make it harder to track where they sent the items/gold. Your character will likely be deleted if you are hacked and this system is in place.

That is why there should be a Delete Security Code like there is in many games. When you click to delete a character, instead of typing "Delete" or something like it is in DS, you would have to input a Security Code, that has NOTHING to do with your account password, so that might prevent them from deleting chars.

That is why Multi-Clienting, as what it seems, isn't allowed in DS, as you can't pvl your chars due to level difference, there would be no use for Multi-Clienting. Without Dualing, hackers wouldn't be able to trade to alts, but ofc, We all know there are ways you can Multi-Client, and that is how, the Hacker would dual his Alt in, and trade with it.

So, to make it 99% Safe against Hackers, the idea would be adding, Sent Mails Tab, Security Code when deleting chars, and a way to end Dual Clients, even with softwares(Which imo, would be bad).

The 1% risk, is due to the Hacker having a partner, and trading your hacked items with it.
