ARMOR and WEAPON Painting...

Would be very difficult to implement.

All the paintable stuff such as CGs and Carts exist as completely different items not just dynamically recolored versions of the same one.

Do you realize how many new models this would require?

let's look at how many body pieces we would need.
If we just include job based armors (ignoring classless stuff) there are a total of
60 base items
336 blue named items

396 total

multiply that by 4 (to include gloves, hats and shoes) and you get 1184

If we allow all of these to be changed to an additional 4 color we would need to add 4736 new items to the game along with horrendous amount of coding for the NPCs to be able to recognize each and every base item so yo can paint it.

And that's not including brave stuff or classless stuff or wings or bags or weapons or shields.

Don't think it's likely to happen somehow
