Here some simple improvements how we can get FOC started more often .
I have waited too much for FOC getting started when there were like 7-9 people joined QQ.


NOW:

  • FOC starts when 10 people are joined, sometimes when 9 people are joined.
  • A partyjoin is counted as 1 people. f.e. when 3 ppl join in party the system count as same as 1 char would have joined.
  • FOC ends when in one team are lesser then 4 people.


Suggested improvements:


  • FOC starts when 6 people are joined.
  • The system counts correctly people in a party when they join together for FOC or party join is not allowed.
  • FOC ends when in one team are lesser then 1 people.

Please correct me when i didnt got it how the FOC JOINING System works.

Yes, count each member of the party would be a good way to make the match start faster and balance the matches a little more.

I think that a way to solve it could be to change the reward system.

-They could make like in tb and at the end of foc/im let the players pick the rewards between lant, xp or points. Since the players would get only one of the 3 options, the amounts given should be increased. Also, IM should give better points, lant, xp, than FoC.

-To recover IM, besides of what was said before, maybe give a random enchant at the end of the match, with a chance based on the contribution, could make people to want to go there instead of make the point convertion.

FOC map isnt that big, but i guess its a little problem for ION mine :D

I would have no problem if from my team 2ppl are afk... :D


I still think it would be a improvement to the current system.
There are many who join FOC only when its already active.

umm what? I've never seen foc start with 9 people...and it doesn't count all in a party as one...this a recent bug I don't know about?

And lol if they have to lower the minimum number of people to start maps again. They already lowered it from 16 to 10. Just another way to see how low the population is when not even 10 people from across the entire world can be found to start a foc match lolol

I have seen that sometimes that FOC starts with 9 ppl, but maybe my counter wasnt refreshed from the server and it started at 10.


and it doesn't count all in a party as one...this a recent bug I don't know about?


The system counts all ppl in the party and counts them to the other ppl who joined FOC. (No Bug)

But it creates the 2 teams in a false way.

f.e. One party with 3ppl and 7ppl join FOC ( = 10 ppl )

The teams are now 6-4, because the system counts the 3ppl party as one ppl.
3+1 vs 4 -> system count (Bug)
3+3 vs 4 -> human count :D

Yes, it starts now when it hits ten people. The times you see when it seems there are only nine, someone had a friend sign up to be the tenth, and cancel. The lag in the client makes SvsS, union, and to a great extent event FoC unplayable, so it really doesn't matter. There's a significant delay even when I simply swap out one piece of gear and when you add in a couple dozen other people it just turns into a slideshow. This is all since the last patch.
