This issue has been adressed already several times. You can fix it by trying one of the 3 ways to open your inventory, which is bound to work.

When I had this bug, I tried all the possible ways to open the inventory and none worked
The only solution is to go to another planet, and then it gets magically fixed (I have no idea why, though)
