The True meaning of Assassin Class:
"A character highly specialised in speed for killing intend, kill or be killed"
High Dodge ability, 40 extra flee than any other class.
Double attack ability with daggers, double the fun.
Ability to wear weapon on left and Right Hand. (mainly daggers and swords)
Ability to vanish into thin air, "cloak mode engaged". Unlike Rogues, your movement speed is much higher when being invisible.
Your walking speed is slightly higher than any class without a mount (unbuffed)
Katar weapon doubles your crit rate.
Enchant Poison give head start against neutral reduction and advantage against fire elemental,brute and insect enemies. (poison is a kind of water.. heh)
You may play this class if you are a griefy player that strike from the shadow.
This class is recommend for those who newly start RO without any gear at all. Due to the fact that building your character with all your passive skills you will enhances your little warrior in god like speed.. really?
With minimal efford you can gain a Good Amount of FLEE with undershirt and pantie with a couple zeny.. oh really?. This is one golden reason why you should start this class if you are new to Ragnarok. Assassin class do not require an expensive equipment to be a fast leveler. Buy a couple of Jahmahdah[0]s from Morroc and upgrade it to +8 with ease, you will be better than most.. a cheap trick?
This class are not meant to be laugh at, you can do a lot more when you ascend to higher job classes.
Most professional GX player actually did not have GX as their main class, due to that it was so god damn easy to play with with al flashy moves and that !! .. oh wow
There are 3 main types of GX, a Crit type, and a dual Wield type, and a Base Character (which you can adjust with gear accordingly)
A crit type generally get around 40+ crit rate, which means 80 crit when using a Katar class weapon.
These is what I may recommend, however you may change the stats/skill points according when there are room.
I will provide plenty of room for you customisability, don't worry ;D
Basics of your Crit Assassin :
If you use a Katar get level 10 katar mastery.
Sonic Blow may not be necessary, but desirable. (Crit will do more DPS)
Poison React increases your DPS. Also counters some enemy attacks. Best to have at level 10, if you cannot - then don't get it.
Grimtooth is desirable when you want to kill 5+ mob at once. (Dex requred)

Maximum Left-Right Hand Mastery

Cloak, Speed is sufficient at level 8. Any higher is desirable.

Basics of your ALL Assassin Cross:
Very similar to previous build on Sin, however you MUST have level 5 Advance Katar Mastery. (yes you may have katar mastery level 7, no a big deal.)
You MUST have level 5 Enchant Deathly Poison
Soul Destroyer and Meteor Assault, I advice NOT to max them both. Have maxed-out one or the other..
Sonic Blow level 10 is needed to access to cross impact in the 3rd class tree
Basics of your ALL Guillotine Cross:
You will need Venom Impress
For all WoE types GX, you will need Cloaking Exceed. Willing not to at your own risk.
Stat variations:
GX class has many stat build variation, but most importantly skill has a bigger role of character framework.
variation one; Base GX (specialised with gears, these are rough guildlines)
This means you can go with two Rouge's treasure and become a Crit build
A Sword + Ice pick, you become a CI build
HP% gears becomes a tank.
ASPD boost gear and becomes a breaker.

GX skills:
Venom Impress: level 5
Research poison level 9, if not don't get it at all.
Poison Weapon: level 5 (you can still use pre-brewed GX poison form other GX's)
Antidote: optional (You decide when every GX has poisons)
Venom Pressure: desirable (I'm sure that couple fast crit will do some infestation on your target anyway)
Cross impact: nothing wrong with level 3, if you are a Crit type. (you only lose 100% of the skill mod).
Leveling wise:
Rolling cutter 5 -or- counter slash 5. Counter Slash can be used with any weapon, while Rolling Cutter is Katar only
Reliability- Rolling Cutter is overall better, while Counter slash will need to have a wait to trigger (may die otherwise).
Poison Smoke: Never

Hallucination Walk: DO NOT go straight and add points to this skill at early job. Due to that it is a very deep tree. Try spend ... wisely
What level weapon blocking is sufficient enough to mob with?
If you are job point starve, but has counter slash 5, you are good with blocking 3 or above
Leveling Spots:
Strictly speaking, it is not the monster you kill. It is how fast you can kill that mob to get certain exp.
Strictly speaking, Use the ingame MAP as a rough guide of your leveling spot. You can go 15 level difference from you and your mob (lower and higher)
As a Crit Build, you must decide if it is right for you to dodge effectly vs. "I am killing this fast enough?"
As a DD Build, you must decide if your DEX is high enough to hit it vs. "I am killing this fast enough?"
If you take more than 5 seconds to kill a mob, there is something wrong ! (< this guild line works from level 1 to 120)

Ice Pick - damage increases depend on opponent's defence
Assassin:
Infiltrator[0] and [1] - increase weapon damage by 50% against demi-human and players
Carnage Katar (level 3) (valor)- increase weapon damage by 75% against demi-human and players, 20% increase on overall crit damage(can be obtained from battle grounds)
Glorious Jamadhar (level 4) - increase weapon damage by 75% against demi-human and players (can be obtained from battle grounds)
Elemental katars:
Katar of Frozen Icicle
Katar of Quaking
Katar of Raging Blaze
Katar of Piercing Wind
These Katar are best to be slotted with such a method will enable 3 card slots. Best cards to use are:
Katar of Frozen Icicle - Vadon Card(+20% against fire)
Katar of Quaking - Mandragora Card(+20% weapon damage against wind)
Katar of Raging Blaze - Kaho Card(+20% weapon damage against earth)
Katar of Piercing Wind - Drainliar Card(+20% weapon damage against water)
SinX:
Chakram [2] - Best use with meteor assault (not widely used, not recommend)
Drill Katar [1] - Best use with higher flee enemy, but Mummy card (+20 hit) may be more desirable.
Wild Beast Claw [1] - Cheap, great for over upgrades

Where DO I BECOME A THIEF???
Go to Morroc, head to North West. Then further north west you will see a pyramid and red head Kafra..
Enter the Pyramid and try and run to the centre of the maze, There is a portal there.
Once you entered this portal, head to left wing of the map. Talk to 2 npc, they tell you everything..
Where DO I become an Assassin?
Assassin Guild is in moc_fild16. Check the inGame Map if you need to. Also "/where" in the chat box will bring up your current location.
To enter the Assassin Guild, you have to go to the highest place of that map..
