Truly a beautiful work of art. You really capture the sexual tension ever so present in the descent through the darkened mansion. As we travel through the floors we are revealed a dark and twisted love, rivaling that of Romeo and Juliet. It is obvious that the two monsters have become the evil in their hearts. Yet we are aware of a past gentleness that pervaded their characters. Surely before Paris condemned the inhabitants of Van Cliff's mansion with the temptation of evil they must have had a passion for each other. Their desire to continue fighting for each other is heartwarming even in this evil state. We first see Van Cliff on B10, ready to exterminate us. We destroy him, and his lover Rahnoff attacks us in his duty as Van Cliff's guardsman and lover with the protection of four barriers. Only after eliminating Rahnoff do we see the true extent of their surviving love for each other in Van Cliff's revival on B25. He seeks vengeance on us who stole his love away from him.

Calpico displays a mature understanding of this beautiful relationship. The fine colors are warm and inviting, welcoming us to the softer side of the characters. And the roleplay experiences rival deep romantic poetry. Truly an artistic genius at its finest in drawing us into Van Cliff and Rahnoff's characters.
