In reponse to the other post and Heim's request, what would you guys like to see added in to limit the need to modify the client?

Some things that I'd like are:

1) WoE mini-maps so it's easier to see exactly where your guildies are (or aren't).
2) ET mini-map that shows the floor numbers. This way, if somebody is running back up, they can tell you where they are.
3) A sealed shrine mini-map so we can see it ingame rather than having to tab to iROWiki.

Just adding the mini-maps in should be enough to make them show up ingame.

Anything else?

Making warp portal show which map is memo-ed. Its a pain in the ass when you have two or more Veins Fields memo-ed

IMO knowing the castles, Sealed Shrine, etc. is part of the game and you should learn them yourself instead of having a map right there for you.

I like those ideas, especially the Endless Tower one. Even /where doesn't tell you what floor you're on.

Lamb does make a good point, in the now dead thread, about during WoE it would be easier to point out which person is doing something stupid. Unlike now you are just saying who is that person way over there not with us and why?!

/where tells you what PART of ET you're in, floors 1-25, 26-50, 51-75 etc

The only reason those minimaps aren't ingame is because of the fact that...they just aren't. Either they forgot or they just didn't add them in for some odd reason. They don't add any true benefit though. It's not like you're running a maze and you have to figure your way through it. ET is...floors. 25 floors or so per map. Sealed Shrine is just a map. Finding the flames and the graves is the maze part alone. Finding your way around the map itself isn't the challenge.

Yes and no. One build is powerful, but any other build besides trap sucks! Bow skills are lackluster and Wurg are decent.

I want to see cells highlighted that are affected by bard/dancer skills (magic strings and like) and sage land skill (magnetic earth and like) even with effects off.

I still want Mode Cold to be more noticeable and for Deep Sleep to look different from regular sleep. Someone actually got regular sleep on them once and I was so confused as to why I wasn't able to cancel it.

How about instead of the sleep icon going from 1 Zzz -> 2 Zzz -> 3 Zzz to just be 1 big Zzz that is red or something?
A big Cold Mode wouldn't be that bad either.

Global announcements getting their own toggle in chat. Ex. I want a chat log purely for PMs so I can look through all my pms at the end of the day, but with all the bungee'ing or castle takes going on, I end up missing a few important PMs.

A persistent "reject whispering/local chat" list needed, currently exiting client resets the list (add a UI while you're at it please). I hate going through prontera with all those gold spammers (which are getting rampant).

I'd love to have an special /effect. For example, all my effects are off except for a certain skills effect that I want to be on.

1) A display for buff-durations that doesn't require mouse-over.

2) WoE-castles map/minimap that displays locations of flag warps.

3) Some auto-mute function. It's dumb that a 3rd party program like RCX would be needed just to mute the excessive amount of spam bots which have never been permanently resolved on valk server.

4) More fluid gameplay. Paying for RO and lower ping is a double priced game subscription.

5) A toggle to automatically display X,Y coordinates on/under minimap (as opposed to having to repeatedly type /where).

5) BB gutter display.

6) Buff/debuff icons: Stasis, Mandragora Howl, Masquerade Ignorance, reflect damage, elemental proof potions, buche de noel, etc.

if they can have simplified aura, can we have a simplified effect? i would like to see a simple effect for skills like magic strings/riff/apple/hells plant/thorn wall/ anything that laggs your computer during woe =(, that way you can go woeing with a simplified effect, rather then turning everything of without knowing, what are you stepping on.
