Only if you are sitting in your living room. It's not a portable like it looks. Also that feature won't be available in all games. This is how they appeal to the "core" audience. With another control gimmick. Notice how Wii U sounds like Wii 2? >.>
They are appealing to the core by finally making a console with graphics that can match the PS3 and Xbox 360 now.
I mean finally, 1080 HD! They'll be able to open the market to sooo many more developers.
I'm excited to see how it works and the games they will develop around the new controller. Should be interesting to say the least.
Also, yay for new smash brothers to come.

But, that's not going to change what Nintendo is doing, so I guess I'll just wait and see how this all pans out. If the new Zelda and Metroid don't look good enough to me, then screw it.

Honestly, I prefer the Wii-mote.

It looks to me like you can still use the Wii-mote if that's what you prefer, the new remote just gives some games better advantages. I mean they did show it being used along side other regular wii remotes in a lot of the demos. It seems a bit bulky and uncomfortable to use through an entire game though. I'm hoping they realize that and don't make any games that rely entirely on the new controller. x3
I liked it with the wii zapper though. It's like your own little sniper scope. Pew pew! :3
