Hey can you explain why you dont get meteor and those beam moves???

To long of a cooldown, it will be better after the update on mages though.

yah exactly, those skills are way too ugly, and BTW

Great guide, very crisp and easy to read.

I'd never. EVER play a Sorcerer. You couldn't pay me enough to do so.

On a serious note. I'd strongly suggest holding off working on any hardcore guides until new origins hits. As things will change somewhat from it.
Examples being Thunderbreak and the revamped 3rd job meteors actually being worthwhile now.

This was my first thought as I was going through your skill suggestions. Sorcerers get quite a few changes with the upcoming patch and their list of sexy skills is going to explode.

Could you explain, why Soul Drain is good?

I have learned it and very disappointed with that skill. The damage is bad (pepper can do better damage), long animation and cool down, need too much SP (25 for 1 level) and the worst thing.... the mobs can still hit u :) .

The only good thing i found is, it can stun the enemies for short time, but still not that useful in f7 (better to use blizzard and penguin because of long animation and cool down).

A mages guide in IAH forum also said it is good, but really don't understand why it is good.

Thanks

well, soul drain has an ok damage, and it can hit several times to a large group of mobs, it's not the coolest skill for sorc neither the other 4th job skills, it's your choice, leave it in blank or max it, i would leave it in 0 too, if i dont want to spend more sp, and in fact is a very powerful skill

Quick question, how do you level to 42 if there are no F6 parties to join? I already do daily quests.

Yea I know. But most of the guide is still relevant. Like the base skills for lvl 20-40 its not like you can use chaos maps to get legend of combo anymore XD

What skills are there for Wizard to help with Groggy? e.e I've tried everything, and the only skill that seems to do something is Fire Emblem, and the chances of filling Groggy are ZILCH. Any tips? :/

Endbringer has tested this as well and had similar results. Either Sorcerer skills are just plain bad for groggy, we haven't figure out how to use groggy correctly yet, or there's some kind of bug involved.

I think it's a problem with the skills themselves. Dashing Blow for Gladiators fills like half the bar! It's only one hit!

did anyone tried to fill up the groggy bar with the awakening skills?

maybe, the most useless skills are the most useful one for the groggy bar.. lol

I haven't tested Rain of Fire on new bosses yet, but it might be good enough.

Endbringer tested Awakening skills as well, I believe. I can disprove the theory that magic doesn't fill up groggy, b/c as an invoker I can use Rain of Fire, Spark Rock, and both of my offensive Awakening skills (Wraith and Lightning Storm, the ultimate) to fill up groggy. Even my x-spam fills it up, albeit barely.
