Greetings fellow Dragon Saga users,
It has become clear that many users are having issues applying the New Origins patch. This is a temporary thread to assure all of you that you're not alone.
Many users have been encountering an error during the patching process that produces a "failed to patch" message. This is purely speculation, but it seems there may be some files included in the patch that are causing these issues, as many users are encountering the problem at approximately the same point in the patching process (around 99-100% completion).
I have already submitted a ticket to the support team regarding this issue in the hopes that a temporary fix can be found. In the meantime, please be patient as we await official word on this matter. Myself and the other volunteers will keep you updated if we hear anything.

If you received the fail to patch error message eariler goto your Dragon Saga folder and delete a file named 'patch.id' (Thank you to the user who posted this eariler.) This will force the client to fix the file that is causing the issue preventing you from selecting a channel. You do not have to install the game.
Please note: This is only if the game client is crashing when selecting a channel!
