Did someone already create an achievement for creating headgear? Like making every 'craftable' headgear in the game! On Iris I had made dam near every one of them except the Orc Hero Helm. Of course, that was before the new crop of creatable headgear, like the Valk helm and the Moscovia one, etc.

Yes, it's called "Headgear Factory" and it's listed under "Let's Try Something New."

Since this is aimed at new players, the accomplishments related to Renewal mechanics (I'm the sun, I can do anything better than you) should be removed; otherwise new players will assume that those accomplishments are possible, and start asking why they can't make something go past +10, or how to get third job, etc.

"Party Hearty" is impossible as the party limit is 12.
"Utter Devotion" is impossible as there is no maximum guild level, nor any threshold for "helping".

This whole idea of achievements was made in response to the outcry that there is little mid-game stuff to do. And it sort of is hard to find something to do, especially since you don't know what can be done in RO. I'm hoping this will help to enrich the RO experience for some folks who are willing to try.

As for the images, at this point they're not quite official for the achievements as I've yet to figure out how to modify the BBcode for images so that when you mouse-over the image, it'll display the title of the achievement as well as link back to this thread. You'll just have to wait and see if this will develop farther.

Oh ok, true dat; certainly some adjustments will have to be made with renewal but this is pretty neat i'll definitely be checking back in the future.

EDIT: this whole idea also reminds me of the achievements which were recently brought out with the new counter strike source update. Although this wont happen it would be tight if gravity could incorporate this into the actual game.

I'll just mark them as pending for the time being then.

Yea all are players' who you will hear the name of, or see, sooner or later.

As for bandwidth for the achievement icons, if needed, I have a small business account with Yahoo! that I'm really not using, so y'all would be more than welcome to piggyback things off of it. Hit me up if you're interested.

-Cook every food in each of the 10 cookbooks ten times each

 

Hunger Games Champ

-Defeat 23 same level or higher foes in PVP using only gear purchased from an NPC without using potions

 

Millionaire

-Save up 1,000,000z

 

Billionaire

-Save up 1,000,000,000z

 

Sword Art Online

-Solo to level 99 without dying

-Get 1 of every pet egg in the game

Hmm, I'll add the millionaire and billionaire. There's already one like Beast Master; it's called Pet Day Care. The rest are too specific so I'll just add them to the Player Challenges.
