There are some major flaws in our current Emporia War system.

1 Warping:
The ability to warp to different islands (fighting 3areas) in Emporia War slows down play and makes camping warp locations a superior strategy to trying to engage the other team.

2 Missions:
The mission system further slows down play and makes avoiding combat (unless you have an easy mission) a superior strategy to attempting to kill opponents. Only when players have an easy mission is it worth it for them to attempt to attack. Missions give more points then kills. Some missions require only the usage of a single skill or single attack upon a certain class, while others require killing an opponent (which is comparably difficult). Most of the match players are usually waiting for the timer on a mission to run out. Most of a match players are best off just running away or avoiding the other team.

3 Team Sizes:
The nature of the current EW system potentially gives one stacked or a few stacked players a potential advantage when playing against a large team.

Proposal

I would like for the five areas that you can warp to in EW to be replaced with a single area that is slightly larger than one of the individual areas we have now. In this new area, players should start in a safe zone (probably up high like in bsq). When a player leaves the safe zone and enters the actual combat area a bar should begin to slowly fill. Every time the players bar fills up all the way, the bar resets and the players scores a few points for their team. If the players is killed, their bar empties.

Essentially, I am proposing an aditional reward system for surviving inside a combat zone. With such a reward system, teams would have an advantage for having numbers, provided that their members are decently geared. Additionally, the new reward system would make missions less game breaking. The purpose of having a single area is also so that players can not run as easily.

Problems I have with this:

"An area slightly larger than an individual area we have now" sounds way too small for two near max capacity guilds.

If we have this, EW will just be able having enough stacked WMs and pallies spamming slow heal and barricade to stay alive. Trying to do less than satisfactory missions would be an even worse idea then. The EW you're proposing is just as much about how many people you have and gear as the current EW.

Give away eternity pots and cakes always spam never die huehuehue auto.
I prefer luck2win over Pay2win in EW anyday.
also have you ever seen what happens when you stick spin in bear or blizzard in a choke point full of ppl..

edit: Also It's not the size of the team that matters it's the quality.
