old but important bug

bowling bash
the damn thing misses entire mobs save for a single monster. i can have 5 or six of something on me, in the same square even, and this "3x3" area can only seem to hit ONE of them.
the irowiki mentions a "glitch" that occures every 40 squares on the grid but this is ridiculous. the skill doesnt glitch every 40 squares, its more like every other square. i'll try to hit a mob, only one gets hit, so i move, regroup mob, and try again. and AGAIN only one is hit. it can take several tries sometimes.
a good skill. but completely unreliable. all i can do is beg someone to FINALLY put this old bug to death.

ok folks, i know this bug has been around since the dawn of the game, but its just riddiculous that it still exists, its a popular skill and it amazes me that Gravity hasn't made any effort to make it more reliable

That's exactly the behavior you get when you're on a gutter line. Likely you moved along the gutter line, resulting in you still being in the gutter on the second try.

The gutter line system is obsolete and can be quite confusing to newer players. Why is a system like this in effect if the only way to see them is to use 3rd party software that is neither supported or endorsed by gravity, in fact finding a map of gutter lines is a painful task. I would love to know what the current gutter lines prevent with the current bowling bash, as mobs do not get knocked back far enough to make crazy chains. I propose that they be removed, they were added at some point, I do not see why they can't be removed.
