I think the guard/dog repeatable quest is bugged. I took this quest today and it said that I should be collecting Holy Bones or something like that. However, monsters immediately started dropping Bakonawa's Soul Pieces.

Bakonawa's Soul Pieces are an MVP exclusive drop used for crafting Tattoos. Normally they're somewhat hard to come by and would be pretty valuable and so until this is fixed, I'm not going to be hunting any mobs in Malaya if I can help it, lest I be 'exploiting a bug'. Is anyone else getting this?

It also means I can't complete the daily quest either, since I can't obtain the bones.

is the malaya zone down?
can log on to chars in other zones but not possible to log on a char in morocc.........

Malaya has a lot of issues that need to be addressed apparently... MAINLY THE MOBS DROPPING MVP DROPS! I can just see this getting rolled back or something...

This is kind of tricky to fix, since the real bakonawa's soul piece is valuable, and some players may have already defeated him to obtain their souls ligitimately. Are the GM's going to delete all Baknawa souls from people's inventory? I already have 52 of them. That's a potential 52 tattoos I could make for the festival.

I'd say get rid of em just to be fair but who knows, they may choose to ignore this or deal with it accordingly.

I'm not! that's the amount I ended up with before I posted. I got all those drops just from doing the hospital quest before I realized what they were used for.

I'll probably sell mine to the npc too, so that I can keep farming silver chains.

hm well i've been farming there for bout 20min, and i've never gotten a soul piece. maybe its bugged on some diff characters too

I fooled myself into thinking well maybe just one more and I would get the bone, so now i have 162 of the bakonawa's soul piece, I ended up getting sleepy and quitting.

but u ll need dolls for tattos which is hard task

Still could've been prevented if it was properly tested on sakray rather than "Ninja Implemented" with what seemed like little to no testing to see what harm it could/would potentially do :\

I like surprise updates, but not if they cause issues to begin with..
