Okay, I'm not the biggest fan of support classes so I'm not completely sure about what's best for them. I'm talking about Arch Bishops.
I recently made a Diabolus Robe[+3VIT] with some spare change I had and made that with my first try. Was hoping for an INT enchant but hey, as long as it's an enchant that can benefit my AB, it's all good!

Anyways, back on topic, I'm not sure what to card the armor with. Here's a list of what I had in mind.

1) PecoPeco
2) Pasana
3) Marc
4) Angeling
5) Dame of Sentinel
6) Demon Pungus (inflicts Sleep status)
7) Sasquatch (inflicts Frozen status)
8) Majoruros (inflicts Stun status)

This is more for PvM, btw. Was actually wondering if I should use the D.Robe on my Sura, too, for PvP/WoE purposes. Thoughts?

Pasana is the most useful one in that list, plenty of uses in PvM and PvP/WoE.

If it's for PVM A majority of the time it's gonna be PecoPeco for extra survivability...
If you plan to do tanking on multiple characters I'd go with Sasquatch to freeze, unless the monsters are resistant to freeze then I'd use a dark frame card. Pungus/Majoruros never saw a real use by me anyways.
Angeling seemed more for PVP uses but I could be wrong.
Pasana you could save it and just replace fire armor from medals and spare yourself a card slot. Marc I dont think you really need unless freezing is a HUGE issue...

Those are my thoughts anyways, don't take them personally of course. Everyone has different uses for something

I Always wear Valk Armor Of Ifrit (Pasana) I Find it really useful, Because not every class "Tries" t freeze you (except those SC's lol) But, when im not using a gr i always have a pasana equipped, Angling Helps with them magic classes but i thing pasana for the rest,

P.S I am talking about PVP, Not PVM Sorry. (My Opinion, I Have never played a sura though)

Hmm, seems like Pasana's the right choice, then. I was thinking of going for that, but I wanted to have fun with some status-inflicting cards, too :3

Hmm, come to think of it, ive never tried them status inflicting ones, Although using them on an ab may not be ur best move ;P

Haha, yeah. I might just card the D.Robe with a Pasana and get a Flame Skull shield for status-inflicting fun xD Chance for infliction is wayyyyy higher anyways xD

MATK for an AB? Last time I checked, MATK doesn't help with Heal power. Does it now? What have I missed?

more matk = more heal (its not all based on that but yeah)

Well, the irowiki article does say this: "Not affected by equipMATK or % MATK modifiers. Only Weapon MATK, upgrade MATK, and status MATK. "

But yeah, matk gears / cards are bad or insignificant for heals in general.

Regarding the original topic, some ABs like using orleans so they can use another acccessory and have a bit better cast time. I like glorious suit a lot personally, and robe of affection on its own is a pretty good armor for some maps due to the holy property. It's basically a free angeling armor for an AB.

I have a diab robe of wildcat, ifrit, and ares, all for PVM with battle bishop and fs bishop.

If the formula for heal is still correct (( [(Base Level + INT) / 5] × 30 ) × (Heal Level / 10) × (1 + (Modifiers / 100)) + MATK), the MATK is calculated at the end and just added on. So if it's 5% increase to a 180 MATK weapon, that's like healing for 9 HP more total. So yeah, it's pretty bad... only do it if you're sharing with a WL or something that will benefit from the MATK.

I might be late now? In general i'll go for pecopeco card. If u r thinking about putting pasana theres fire armor u can use and slotted as well. But hey whatever makes u happy go for it ^^.

I wouldn't card Pasana outside Valk armor because most of those DB RKs are brandishing Mailbreakers when they DB and that's not fun at all....
