The WarpPortal Team will be making an appearance , this Friday June 29th at this year’s Anime Expo in Downtown Los Angeles, CA! So come join the WarpPortal team for a mini Question and Answer session, and check out all the other WarpPortal and Ragnarok players! We’ll be handing out free stuff and taking lots of pictures, so this would be a great time to showoff your best COSPLAY of your favorite WarpPortal game (or i guess anime characters work too)! So come by and join, us between on Friday, June 29th 4pm-5pm PDT, we’ll be at the area marked below with a star. Best part, is we’ll be outside the convention hall, so its absolutely FREE!

It seems like there's going to be quite a few Ragnarok players going to AX too. Hope to see people there!

I'll be there, not sure what I'll wear, but I'll have my camera(s). Btw, for those who will be in Los Angeles, I highly recommend taking the Downtown Dash "A" bus to get to little tokyo and eat there. Some great restaurants I can recommend.

Give me a food Japanese or otherwise and what your budget is and I can find you something good in Little T/downtown.

If you're going for lunch, and would like to get some affordable sushi there's a conveyor belt sushi place called Kula on second street. if you're looking for a more generalist Japanese restaurant go with Suehiro on first street...the $4.20 lunch specials are well worth it, and they are open into the wee hours if you're still in town.

For Ramen, the highest recommendation is to go to Shinsengumi ramen on central, specialization on pork bone broth ramen which might be a little too warm for the kind of days that AX happens on.

Am I the only one who orders food and goes to buffet in same hotel?... I mean... it's easier to eat in my Junior Suit or just going downstairs than going to eat outside making lines and such...

I'll be around hopefully if I'm not participating in a silly tournament and/or buying stuff for my friends to make a line and get autographs for me...

PS: Last year I brought some ingredients cuz I was doing the cooking (suit had kitchen in it)... but this year dunno since hotel went under maintenance and had to go to Marriot >_>

Dunno... the housing thing was easy for me...

Just went online, got my room... then called to upgrade my room to a Suit and presto... easy reservation...

Same goes for my badge and concert tickets...

PS: Monday party? sounds cool... Santa Monica huh? is quite close... if I'm sober that is...

it was a lot later than previous years and the hotels aren't even fully up to date on who has what (they can't pull up our reservation, just that we have a room but not what type)

The picnic sounds like it'll be a lot of fun.
