What do you guys think about this box? 1000 KPs for a Wickebine's Black Cat Ears and a Gangster Scarf. The gears are both good looking.

Gangster Scarf is just basically a Pirate Dagger.

Wickebine's Black Cat Ears:
Increase Crit Attack by 10%
5% chance to ignore enemy's MDEF for 5 secs when dealing magic attack
+10 Flee

Do you guys think the gears are worthy of 1000 KPs? I was kinda hoping the hat has some additional effect when upgraded to +7.

It has a potential to be worn by Spell Chasers. By potential I mean, almost good.
It is cute indeed. Bestie was going nuts when she saw me wearing it.

I like it. Sad that the Angel Wing Ears[1]/Devil Wing Ears[1] Don't exist though.

im getting them on friday... ive been wanting the ears forever... i woulda rather just had them be slotted and animated version of the black cat ears than have the effects... not really worth losing a slotted headgear for but im still getting them for the looks... the scarf is just a bonus and will look cool on my ninja anyway... finally something other than the pirates dagger for pvp...

I hate the other stats but 5% chance to ignore Mdef for 5seconds.

If that works on bosses it will more than double a PW Sorc damage vs alot of high end bosses and any mobs with 33%+ mdef its like a 50% damage helm. Hit 12 trash mobs 7hit PW. Constant effect almost. Thing could be out of this world for damage boost.

1shotting Banshee mobs finally! yes please!

I tried out Wickebine's Cat Ears on my battle priest. The MDEF ignoring procs really often from Duple Magic (and all the other autocast crap I have constantly firing off). Not many monsters in PVM have super high MDEF though, so I find it pretty useless. The 5% proc rate is pretty low if you're manually casting, so idk what this headgear's best use is.. It's a weird mix of effects and I see it only being handy (but not the best choice) for very niche builds.

Gangster Scarf alone makes this box worth it!

I would've paid 1000kp just for the cat ears - and basically I did since I don't like Gangster's Scarf very much (I allready knew this one from euRO before it closed down).
But I waited for YEARS to finally get the animated Cat Ears for my GX <3
I'm so god damn happy about them. Only chace to top that headgear would be to get it in a Costume Version, so that I never have to put them off again <3
All missing is a black Cat-Tail now, and I'm completly happy x3

Haha my guildie and I bugged the hell outta heim after the USRC for these two specific headgears as a reward, hence the name "Participant's request box" Glad they added them. I don't think people really care about its stats.

Yeah, they're both pretty much just for aesthetics, although the Gangster Scarf is good for people who missed out on the Pirate Dagger event (however, iirc, you can still get that from the Seals quest).

i think the ears are pretty useful for crit battle ABs. 10% more crit dmg and a proc that activates often to ignore mdef of monsters (for duple or autocasts) sounds quite useful. even though i'd probably still prefer a mercury riser. on the other hands it's useful AND cute, which is rare.

but 10 bucks is quite alot in my opinion.

Is there some kind of effect when it procs? I cant tell at all when I use it on my Spell Chaser.

Lol! I was thinking the exact same thing. It basically only works with sorcerer's PW (if no skull hat) or SC since SC's will proc it like crazy, dealing heavy magic damage from ASS
