Max Grizzly if you have enough SP and advanced mastery only works with a +20 sword.

It only gives good DMG if you have a +20 zau.

Leave it at 3/5.

your answer lead me to another question :D why just level 3?

1) DMG doesn't increase alot per level (stormblade)
2) Level 3 hits 8 mobs; 8 mobs are a standard amount to hit in most F1 or PvE stages.

Grizzly Power yes.
Advanced Sword Mastery like stated is only good with a very high enchanted endgame weapon.

As for Storm blade I agree 3/5 is good enough.

Storm Blade's damage is absolutely pathetic and it's used primarily for a tactical advantage or if you absolutely have to hit quickly to keep a combo going. You put it at 3 because it hits 8 targets that way and 8 is a good rule of thumb for how many guys you need to hit at once in PvE (mobs usually spawn in clusters of about that size.)

Grizzly Power is great, max it.

Speaking of grizzlies, always max out I'm Down Bro or whatever it's called - the karate kick bear. This is a contender for the most damaging skill in the game and will also make it horribly easy to get high combos. Storm Blade can lead into this and other skills with practice.

1. Storm blade is one of your most used moves and does a good amount of damage.2. The karate kick bear isn't even close to being one of the most damaging skills in the game. Hell its barely even one of the most damaging overlord skills.

My I'm gone bear crits over 600-700k when I use bloody roar. It's simply cause it's 8 hits are 1 hit spread into 8 so it'd be all hit or all miss or all crit or all normal.

Your hardest hitter is probably Gust Slash though.

Your multihit skills have way more potential to do more damage than than single hit skills. That being said single hit skills have more consistent damage until you have good CR. Im willing to beat at high CR/CD SB,Wyvern blade, gust slash, etc out deal damage kick it bear do.

You are correct sir. I roll God of Fury and those moves will destroy way faster then the bears. Potentially downing non evaders/blockers in rapid time w/ Bloody roar.

I apologize if I started an argument with my limited knowledge. I haven't had enough experience with the other skills to fairly judge their effectiveness over several trials.

I definitely like the bear though. At the very least, at the time you can get him he is a major boost to damage output and I'm sure he ought to remain useful all throughout your DS career if only to fill in space between your other skill cooldowns.

EDIT: Also I embarrassingly mixed up Storm Blade and Sword Dance (somehow.) I agree that Storm Blade damages just fine and is incredibly useful. Sword Dance is the one with the pathetic damage that mostly leads into other skills.

Sword Dance can be a primary catcher in PvP. But in PvE yes it's damage isn't grand. I suppose if you need to dish out a quick hit during a combo in PvE then yes it works well due to it's very low cooldown, quick animation that can be canceled, and low mp cost.
