Is there any way to avoid this skill? Does flee avoid it or maybe a certain element of armor or certain stat? It's the skill that automatically reduces your HP to 1, used by MVPs like Pharoah and Dark Lord. I'm tired of dying from it

The only item that blocks Dark Blessing is Golden Thief Bug Card I believe. Dark Blessing makes the MVPs into MVPs as they are not regular monsters and as such are more challenging to kill.

Hard to flee when they keep summoning mobs I'm only a Bio so no decent Aoes yet.

@above: Yeah I guess it's a good challenge, but meh..also for me, they keep spamming it so it gets kinda annoying.

No, GTB does work. GTB FTW. GTB also may avoid the earthquake damage

Go tank darklord with gtb, you'll still get dark blessinged. Done it a million times on sura in ET.

GTB blocks EQ for sure.

Okay thanks for the replies. While we're on the topic of MVPs, does the spawn timer reset after maint?

Also, is this on a renewal or classic server?
Safety wall definitely blocks it on classic, but not sure about in renewal.

All mvps except bio3, LoD and quest mvps like ktullanux and thanatos will be alive after maintenance.

SW does not block dark blessing under classic mechanics (unless classic is different from pre-renewal, which I don't think it is). SW was (and is, to a lesser extent) a spectacular counter-measure, because it kept the mob from hitting you while you're at 1 hp, giving you a chance to pot back up. But I'm quite certain I used to get my HP knocked to 1 while tanking MVPs in SW.

They should make it so undead armor blocks dark blessing's coma effect and instead gives you buffed stats =D

I have gtb muself and it doesnt work. For EQ yes u dont get hit by it
