The only bonus I see for spending the points into LUK would be the Perfect Dodge.

AGIs only bonus is extra Flee, as low as it would be still gets a boost from the WW Manteau's +20 Flee as well as IC's extra AGI. Being stuck having to kill a single target is easier with even a small amount of AGI, any ASPD is better than no ASPD.

Bro your going by IROWiki calculations im telling you by real experience. With 56 luk i got 30 more dmg on my AS


56 / 3 = + 18 ATK
18 ATK = 36 ATK
36 x 27 =
+ 972 Arrow Storm Damage at level 150.

Its a small bonus barely noticeable, but every point counts.

Arrow Storm Build - No AGI

STR 1
AGI 1
VIT 96
INT 108
DEX 120
LUK 45

VIP Buffs, Level 10 Blessing, Level 10 Owl's Eye, Level 10 Improve Concentration
1 - ((INT + DEX x 2) / 530)
1 - ((132 + 169 x 2) / 530)
1 - ((132 + 338) / 530)
1 - (470 / 530) = 1 - 0.8867
3.8 x 0.1132 = 0.43 second cast time for Arrow Storm.

By using +30 Dex Food & +30 Int Food it will be possible to have an Instant Cast Arrow Storm.
1 - ((INT + DEX x 2) / 530)
1 - ((155 + 192 x 2) / 530)
1 - ((155 + 384) / 530)
1 - (539 / 530) = 1 - 1
3.8 x 0 = Instant Cast for Arrow Storm

LUK also adds to hit and some resists to status effects. It doesn't hurt to add any points to it. It's more useful than adding points past 100 INT or putting it on AGI at least. :P

77 luck = wear ArchAngeling card. You shall never need Magnificat if you have like even 60int. (I would still go with 100 for faster AS and better regen)

I just got my RWH, I should test the low int idea and see just how well the RWH keeps up.

Again your calculating. I did it on my char the damage increase in WoE and PvP was 30

Even with a +9 RWH you're likely to run out of SP eventually if you're continuously ASing. Because of how much damage AS does it's likely to restore you to full SP when it procs, the only problem is the extremely low proc chance which might never happen until you're depleted.

On the subject of AGI, isn't the entire point of it to make leveling in Scaraba Hall viable? That extra 70 flee might not be a lot but combined with high VIT it definitely would add to your survivability against Insects and Demons.

Sorry for necro-posting this but I have a few weeks till the reset NPC is out. So I was thinking on resetting my ranger for full AS (like the idea of the thread was). No WoE, nor PvP. Just ETing, looting stuffs, and MvP if possible.
Does the LUK actually increases the AS damage? Or is it just a few more damage and doesn't worth it?
I'm sure I'll put 120 DEX! Riakuta's build looks good but still, not sure about the luk though.
If it DOES worth to put luk then I'd say: dex 120, int 100, vit 100, luk 56. If not dex 120, int 105, vit 105 and str 28 (for carrying thins?) or I could skip the str thing and put more int and vit.

when i was pure AS build, i went with
120 dex
90 int
100 vit total (cant remember the base, 95 i think it was?)
77 luk for AA card (which i never ended up getting, rwh and incubus pet solved my sp problem)
1 agi
1 str (bought a heavy lifter's box, totally worth it)

resetted to aspd since hitting 150

had a pretty easy time lvling, farming stuff with this, hardly ever ran out of sp as long as i was shooting mobs.
i never used phen so AS cast was pretty much instant with that build. i did get interrupted every now and then, in which case i usually just wing away or swich to phen then cast again
luk does help with as damage i suppose, but i doubt not having any will ruin your ranger or anything

If you're really serious about playing your ranger with a AS build..

No str(Get HLB)
To much vit 95~100
To much int 90~95
Dex is negligible at 110>>>Only increases your damage a little more than it already is,but if you have enough stat points to go 120,go for it.
Luck is good for the AA card effect and it also increases your damage pretty well.I mean,it never hurts to get it.
Agi is not needed at all really in a full AS build,but I'm sure you already know that.

just my opinion but the additional damage on luck isn't that much compared to the flee you get for additional survivability and also gives faster animation. Getting a bit of luck might help though but not as high as 100.

My basis of my argument is comparing an additional 200~500 damage to 30~70% flee rate on non-mobbed situations as we already know rangers have low hp pool to even survive a few hits as they can't wear much defensive gears due to WW set. Of course in woe that's a different story.

Not woe, just pvm and ET.
Dex is definitely gonna be 120 since I have a lot of points. Vit 100 and int 90 sounds good. But since I don't need str, luk doesn't add that much damage and agi it's not a must, but it adds flee and it's good for mobbing, I gotta distribute the points left into one of those stats. STR would be just for more weight capacity, and HLB can fix that, LUK you said its damage increasement is not a big deal, It would only be good for AA card, and since I can't reach that (70 max only), then nope. I'd say more agi? Agi 70, Vit 100, Int 90, Dex 120. Sounds good or what should I change?

If you are planning to go for a pure arrow storm damage. You can pump all your Dex and int and luk. Luk can also be for hit as well as dodge and also helps for some resistance for status effects. Then get a sac rg partner.
If you want versatility on being more effective in doing stuff, you can still be an arrow storm build while balancing your stats that would provide more effectiveness. It pretty much depends on your playstyle. I'd still recommend to invest some Agi tho. It helps with flee and bleeding.

Those stats are alright imo

I am gonna put my stats into DEX/VIT/INT as well.AGI & STR will be at 1..
What should my stats look like as a lvl 99/70 sniper ?? & post-100, which stats should i get first & which one is preferred last ( guessing at LUK ) ??
